Frustrating the life out of me at the moment.

It annoys me when he completely messes up easy shots or passes and then he does that stupid smirk as if it doesn’t even matter.

His unnecessarily fancy shot attempts irk me sometimes as well, but his passing was good, specially in the first half.

Passing was good granted, but it was clear he was playing as a LCM. That isn’t a problem if you have a marauding fullback like a Cafu/Robert Carlos, but we don’t.

Are you referring specifically to his bad passes to Cucu in the first half and Gusto in the 2nd half? I think Cucu's offside made Enzo doubt whether to make that pass or not, but there weren't other options available (although i guess he could've stepped back and restart the play). And regarding his pass to Gusto, i guess it was a little too hard but i think the frenchy could've reacted a little bit faster.

Also had passes into Joao Pedro that created 2 good chances and another one into Palmer's stride that if he hadn't overran would have been another good shooting opportunity.

Wasn't his best game by any means, especially in second half, but on balance he was mostly okay.

He's been really really sh*t all season and gets away with playing 90+ minutes in every game. Why is nobody questioning this? I want Rosenior to answer why this guy never gets dropped. We move him around the midfield, even move him out wide and he's still useless. Him ghosting in to score the odd goal is masking his sh*t performances.

I'm 100% certain it's because he is BlueCo's boy, but I don't give a sh*t, drop him. If you don't have it in you to drop him, then f**k off out of the club, because you don't have the best interests of the club at heart. Nobody can watch Enzo and think he should be starting every game.

I'm not having that.

He's a great player ... World Cup winner ... he's just been a bit out of form for three and a half years ... 😎

Everyone with a brain is questioning it to be fair. I think its very clear the orders from above are that he has to play every time he's available. The fact the club are pushing him as the face of the project confirms it.

Every fan with a worthwhile opinion knows he's sh*te.

I'm talking more about in interviews. There is never any mention of Enzo unless it's blowing smoke up his arse. He must have given the ball away 3 times in our own half in those last 10 minutes. He never gets called out for it though, and there is a section of the fanbase stupid enough to protect him all of the time too. Why? Because he's from Argentina? if he was English, he would have been sold by now.

BlueCo filter what media they let into the room filling it with their mouthpieces.

There's real fans who can see he's sh*te then there's the new era fans that glamourise the sh*te like Maresca and E.Fernandez. We need to just filter their opinions out.

Seen him compared to Dennis Wise... A box crashe/ later arriver.. All things Wise was exceptionally good at. I strongly disagree with any comparison between Dennis Wise and Enzo Fernandez.

Just to remind you, here is Dennis Wise. Gosh, I wish we had someone like this in the side.

Lots of filtering going on.

So there is a conspiracy to play Enzo Fernandez. Right. Yeah. Interesting. lol.

I think "really sh*t" is going a little far, but I (and I should think most) totally agree - there is no way this guy should be the first name on the team sheet and play 90 minutes just about every game. Ridiculous that it doesn't seem to matter how bad a game he has, he still plays.

No, I do genuinely think his general performances have been really sh*t. He's popping up with the odd goal and assist, which shows he can be terrible and still contribute, but I think his presence in the team has been a net negative overall. I find it very difficult to remember a game where Enzo had a standout good performance. The last one I really remember was against Wolves in November.

He gives the ball away too often.

Yes he makes the occasional good pass and pops up with a goal now and then ... and ?

He's ok but imho he's taking the space someone else could be making better use of...

And he's probably another reason Estavao isn't starting.

Estevao has a niggling hamstring issue.

That's to our brilliant transfer strategy, anyone that can replace him is equally gash either in offence or defence.

It's true, but there's really not a lot of options that can bench the guy. Our coach doesn't seem to trust Garnacho or Gittens

As much as I don't rate Garnacho or Gittens, I would prefer an actual winger than just shoehorning Enzo there.

How can Estevao possibly be injured with our medical department calling the shots???

If Enzo is the first teamer sacrificed to balance the books if we miss CL it might actually make us a better team in the long run.

I think that's the kind of player he could be, but he openly doesn't want that. We all thought he would play deeper or in a box-to-box role in the pivot and he has repeatedly shown he cannot do either at PL level. He thinks he is a #10.

My single biggest issue with Fernandez is that he cannot carry the ball on the dribble. It's why he rushes passes on the counter and literally trips over himself while dribbling, it's embarassing. Conor Gallagher used to get more flack for far less. It means we have no one able to move the ball on the run through the centre, so the ball has to always go out wide or Caicedo has to risk pushing up (because Enzo is loathe to track back and behind).

Someone mentioned it in the match chat but I don’t think Enzo & Palmer should be playing together in that band of 3 behind the CF. It is one or the other. Palmer was shafted to LW to accommodate him against Arsenal but he is clearly not a “10”. Both players want it to feet, wont stretch the opposition, won’t run in behind, and only Palmer can dribble or carry the ball. Long term I wonder what the plan is, because you can keep benching your wingers in case he pops up with a goal. Granted our wingers are crap, but this present situation isn’t working IMO.

I don’t openly hate Enzo like so many seem to. There’s a good footballer in there, he’d excel abroad, Serie A or La Liga.

He’s just never going to be a PL footballer, the games too quick and physical for him. He pops up with a nice little goal here and there but overall he’s a passenger most games.

Now Lavia is fit (for the next 13 minutes) and Santos has nailed down his starting role, it’s probably time to phase Enzo out.

He's just a Championship/ league 1 level player. Simple as that. I hate his attitude, I hate seeing him our blue, wish a player would punch his punchable face, every time he scores or assists I wish it was someone else. We play better when he isnt in the team and have done since he joined us. Hoping we can offload him to another american owned club, Wrexham might fancy a punt...

He is the face of underachievement and mediocrity the club now aligns itself with. To think we dropped 100 million on him.

Sorry, I hate this player.
