Mount was unapologetically still a Portsmouth fan (and from what I heard still going to games at Fratton Park when he could) when he was playing for us.

Rooney made it clear he was still an Evertonian at every possible opportunity even when playing for United.

Pretty sure Terry came back and supported us while coaching Villa.

Paul Merson is a Chelsea fan yet celebrated like he won the world cup when he netted against us as a player.

Aslong as he gives his best and isn't emotionally compromised in the unlikely event we play against River Plate then I honestly couldn't care less.

If I was a footballer playing for any club in Europe, I wouldn't hide my feelings for Chelsea. I would still cheer every goal and wear the shirt in public unless it was written in my contract not to.

Didn't hazard say he's a Chelsea fan when he was at RM too...

I'm not bothered about the shirt like others above tbh. But they need to get him an advisor or mentor ASAP.

I think some people don't realise football is a profession to these players, it's a job.

So, the French lads are all following him on his insta account now?  Everybody is happy?  Still not convinced until I see all the teammates interacting with each other.  Hopefully everything will be worked out.

Nah none of them are following him on insta. Did they ever follow him? Who knows, ban social media and we'd have no problems. 

Maresca may say its fine but it isn't up to him. Lots needs to be done by Enzo to mend the relationship with his teammates.

Reece James just said in the pre-match presser Enzo needs to come back to the team to then see how people react.

From Reece's reaction I think the matter is in the air but not as big as we probably think... time will tell I guess. Hopefully Enzo is just a big person and deals it straight away and gets everyone's trust back. If he is a leader he will just do so.

He was always due to come back at the end of July. It's not like he took extra time off. 

Not sure how easy it would be for him to cancel his family holiday on short notice to come back and apologies in person. I would have thought adults would have been able to resolve this with a simple phone/video call without resorting to social media.

Just want enzo to turn up this year with his WC/ Copa winning experience and to lay it all out on the pitch like his life depends on it and we see his true colours. 

the club and payers will deal with Enzo as they must, call him out, discuss things and move on as humans with some luck.

Enzo or no enzo, the biggest take away from this is Reece James might be injury free... fingers crossed, best of luck to him!!!

With him in the side, we are a top 4 team, on a good day he owns the entire away team dressing room, on a bad one he's just world class. Cant rate this guy enough and hope he finds fitness and form this season. Will be straight in my fantasy side when starting.

He is still a young man but already a very experienced player. Won the world cup, moved to Europe, won the Copa America, has 2 seasons of Premier League football under his belt. 

Young men make mistakes, smart ones learn from those mistakes. 

We need a very humble man walking into the squad. Hopefully he takes it like that. Otherwise it can be bumpy.

Well this is one of the many things that woke-ism is causing the world, now everything must be on social media (even the simplest things like waking up or having lunch, or crying over personal issues, people are desperate for attention), if it's not on social media then it's not important, if social media says something then it has to be very important and trascendental.
