March 2, 20233 yr I am fairly outspoken in how disenchanted I am with how Boehly has gone about things thus far. However......I still think there are only really 4 issues or problems that immediately come to mind and all of them are solvable reasonably quickly. 1. Potter is probably not good enough and probably should go at the end of the season. I personally would parachute Pochettino in now ahead of the Dortmund second leg and hope for a new manager bounce. But if we don't do that, might as well just stick with Potter till the end of the year. Either way, we are a club than can afford to pay him out and it wouldn't be the end of the world so it's a fixable problem. 2. Boehly needs to be more discerning with spending. Spending over 250 odd million pounds on a bunch of players to satisfy a manager you were about to sack and then another 250 odd million pounds on another bunch of players for a new manager who hasn't proven himself is just an incredible waste money when there is an FFP cap. I want to support whoever the Chelsea manager is financially too but surely it's better to have that manager come in, prove they are good enough for this level and prove they can get a song out of the players already at the club before betting the farm on them. It's like a parent lending the keys to their best car to their 18 year old still on their L's. This is also fixable. 3. Too many players. We bought too many players too quickly and made a inefficient mess of things. This is fixable especially with a good manager with a clear plan to concentrate on those with a future at the club under him and those who can leave. 4. Poor form/confidence. This one is quickly fixable, just start winning again. None of these are really big unsolvable problems really. Things can turn around very quickly if we just stop making rookie mistakes (as a club)
March 4, 20233 yr I think we have a back 4 or 5 not including Silva that are the equal or better than any other side in the pl Edited March 4, 20233 yr by ozboy
March 4, 20233 yr @axman2526. Hello! Some alien concept that’s apparently supposed to be good - a win? (H/t @Valerie). Maybe I dreamt it? But no posts. Let’s keep it that way. nobody else post anything on here please. I shouldn’t have but couldn’t resist
March 4, 20233 yr I thought Gallagher did well today and made a difference, with his decent all rounder game. I think the team would have been under a lot more pressure and uncomfortable if it wasn’t for him.

March 6, 20233 yr We'll either be in the Champions League quarter final or have a new manager by next week

March 12, 20233 yr lets see if we can make a good thing in champions league Tbh, if we have a world class goalkeeper I would believe that we could win the competition but with kepa... I don't know.... but well depend a lot of the draw
March 16, 20233 yr Author We are on the quarter finals of the CL, and whoever we get it is a big occasion. We have the two best fullbacks/wingbacks in world football, and the brilliant Enzo Fernandez. Lots to be optimistic about!

March 17, 20233 yr Author Tough draw but if you are in the CL you should want to face teams like Real Madrid. They are the GOAT as far as the CL goes. It is a great tie to be part of, a privilege.
March 30, 20233 yr Author Ah nobody mentioned our women's side amazing win in Lyon? Maybe this is the year they win big ears.

It's a big moment and power shift from one of the traditional giants of womens' football, but Barcelona are the team to beat. It would be huge if we become the first English side to win the UCL womens

April 2, 20233 yr James, Chilwell, Kante, Enzo, Silva, Badiashile. Now we need another 5 players that can provide the same kind of quality. Sell the rest and build it back up again.
