Gallagher runs around like a headless chicken, always out of position leaving huge gaps the opposition can easily exploit...don't need Gallagher this game. We need players who can work hard, keep possession, but be under control and not go dashing off, getting drawn in chasing shadows which what happened against Brighton. God love him for his enthusiasm and hard work...but not this game.
April 18, 20233 yr Wtf? We are 2-0 down and we are playing one attacker and that attacker is Havertz who doesn't even score goals. Comedy.
April 18, 20233 yr Wow! I was going to watch the game in the hope we could do something, where we expect goals from with that line up I have no idea! I hate being so negative, but this season needs to end!
April 18, 20233 yr Hey Lamps has copied Contes City away tactics, 5-4-1, with the one withdrawn to around the halfway line. Could be worse guys and gals, at least Sterling and Felix are benched.

April 18, 20233 yr So defensive from the off its a joke... lacks any sort of attacking ability I mean who goes up against Madrid needing a 3 goal swing... and plays 5 at the back which includes side show bobs rubbish younger brother (Cucurella) and then 3 naturally defensive midfielders, unless Enzo plays further forward. Havertz is realistically our only attacking threat on that pitch. I'd back James to score over any other player in that midfield. How can we have creative players like Felix, Sterling, Mount, Ziyech, Mudryk, Pulisic and even Chuks on the bench. I'd almost understand if we were 0-0 or 1-0 up and wanted to nick a goal to seal it but when 2-0 down? embarassing.
April 18, 20233 yr The f**ked up thing is we'd have stood a genuine chance in this tie with Bruno let alone Enrique. I know he didn't want to stay but surely we could have convinced him?
April 18, 20233 yr One of the reasons I wanted Lampard out in 2021 is that I feared he would tarnish his legacy if we went down an embarrasing slide, looks like it might end up being the case this season

April 18, 20233 yr Maybe It's 4 At The Back, James In Midfield With Enzo Further Forward And Gallagher As A False 9 And Then f**k It I Dunno

We would've had a better chance with Todd Boehly on the touchline, I'm pretty sure anybody on this forum could have come out with a better line up than this
April 18, 20233 yr Wow....that is some line up. Lamps will either prove to be a tactical genius, or pilloried. Trev, Connor + Kai as lone attacker is astonishing.

April 18, 20233 yr On the bright side we can get knocked out now and save the utter embarrassment of facing City in the semi finals. I'd sack Lampard before he leaves the stadium. Team is better off manager less at this rate.
