July 31, 2025Jul 31 Seems to make sense. No way he was getting any game time this season. Depending how he gets on, can then see a loan to a decent Championship side next season.

Assuming he does well he should be aiming for the Prem next season.
July 31, 2025Jul 31 Strasbourg's front 3 now looks really promising. Emegha with Bakwa and Paez as the inside forwards interchanging. Exciting to watch Strasbourg this season.

French league has a handful of decent sides (some VERY decent), but the rest are average. He will need to get used to the English game and I just think PL sides are less inclined to play teenagers - whereas send him to a decent Championship side (if Lamps is still at Coventry for example), it would be good grounding.I expect it's all irrelevant anyway as he'll probably be moved on for a tidy profit...................... At least in France they'll try to play football and you get to play proper opposition a few times a season. I'd say Championship would be good for lads straight out the academy looking for their first taste of the men's game, not for a player that's scored for Barcelona and Chelsea.

But I won't be too concerned for now as there is every chance he will be added to the list that includes Kakuta, Piazon & Boga etc........................
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Paez was the next best thing before the next best thing, I wonder if it pisses players off signing for us then playing for them. This is why Santos was key. Hopefully Paez can do something similar. See merits in a good season with them. And a pathway back to our first team or the rest of Europe watching. We have to hope some of these boys turn good.
August 21, 2025Aug 21 On the bench for their conference league playoff game. Starts in half an hour if anyone wants to watch Penders, etc.

December 26, 2025Dec 26 His lifestyle choices were questioned back in his home country. Will likely go down the path of Ben Arfa and Taarabt.
December 26, 2025Dec 26 Still has 8yrs left on a reported £40k/w contract. This is downside of those long stupid contracts. Might have already checked out like Sterling
