Broja out for the season I think..Everton sending him back...only played about 3 games and contributed nothing before being injured...he should fit right in with our lot..

yep - there were some pathetic excuses to justify a professional footballer missing an opportunity as golden as this.   Very rarely are chances 100% put on a golden platter at this level - there is usually some effort/skill needed.  Ok - so the pass wasnt 100% perfect, but it was still a clear cut chance that the Donkey has f**ked up. Why does he need everything to be 100% perfect to be able to score from 6-7 yrds.

It was a poor pass, but also a good striker at the very least gets a shot off without having to take a touch as you say.

It's another very expensive miss at a time where going 2 up against a fragile team sets us up well.

If we're being honest, it was Jacksons goal record that was keeping him in the team, he would have a sh*t game, then score the next. But now he's not even doing that, he's just having poor games, at the moment there's no justification in keeping him there. 

Just try Guiu up front for a game and see what he can do ffs, what have we got to lose at this point? Might actually wake Jackson up if anything.

I genuinely think if Guiu or Nkunku had started yesterday, we'd have lost 3 nil. 

And if we had a decent striker (and Petrovic in goal) we'd have won 2 nil.

Not sure, with the form this team are in and the mentality we have, I would never bank on us beating City, even when they're hit and miss.

But a new goalkeeper and striker is becoming a MUST at the moment.

I just want us to try something different because I'm sick of seeing Jackson getting rewarded every game.

It’s happened too many times and has cost us countless points. 
 

I’d hoped so much for the chap, and every once in a while he’d look like it was coming good for him and us. I don’t see how you can train that instinct into a player at this stage of their career.

Remember Paul Warhurst years ago ? Maybe we give Tosin a go up top because he clearly doesn’t like Nkunku or Guiu

We could do with Paul Warhurst now... Think he had spells as defender, Midfielder and Striker - but never goalie. We should get him out of retirement and let him complete football by taking over from Sanchez

Signed with Sheffield as a defender, put up front, lit up the joint with 12 goals in 12 games, then fell out with the gaffer when they asked him to go back to CB. Was sold to Blackburn, and played in midfield.

Originally used as a striker by Joe Royle for my hometown club Oldham when he was chasing a game. A role that was later also utilised by Ian Marshall. Got fired sold to Wednesday as he had too many ricksin him at Centre Half

Dion Dublin was another who played up front and at Centre back.

can’t believe the joker decided to take a touch and not slot it home.. I would have been okay if he missed the goal.. but to do that tells

me he doesn’t have the mentality to make it as a striker.. can’t think of any other striker who would do that
