I blame Mourinho for that. Hazard had a hip injury all season and Mourinho was too stubborn to pull him out of the team and give him a month off to recover. Hiddink did it and it gave Hazard enough time to recover and get his head back in the game. If Mourinho had just let him have the Christmas period off, that season could have been saved.

    Yeah, and look at the g/a statistics for Jackson, and he spent the whole of last season running round with a huge chip on his shoulder. Did he complain, I think not.

    Would people start him on Sunday? He's probably a bit rusty after being out for this long. I'd probably start JP and give Palmer minutes in the second half (and with Estevao on the right).

    Would be a risk as he won't be match fit. His inclusion would likely be as a 10 and see Estevao on the bench.

    Most importantly for me is if Palmer, or Joao Pedro for that matter, is a 10 then Enzo is not and therefore Enzo plays in the 2 with Caicedo.

    That leaves Caicedo vs Rice, Zubermendi and one of Eze or Odegaard, and Moises and us get killed in midfield.

    Better Cole is on the bench them gets his return start at Leeds imo. I think Maresca makes one change from Barca. Joao Pedro in for Estevao.

    That's how Maresca has been playing all the time, Palmer/JP as a 10 and Fernandez supposedly as midfielder with Caicedo but then crowding Palmer's space.

    Stamford Bridge hosts the top match this weekend 1st vs 2nd got to be good for the club. It is also looking like Arsenal can't be stopped which makes this even more tasty can Estevao and the chaps produce something special.

    Hopefully we get a result, not going to be easy yet can be done.

    I don’t envy Maresca making a decision with Palmer. One hand, one of, if not our best player and can produce match winning moments, on the other hand he’s certainly not fully match fit and potentially rusty.

    Don’t play him and lose and he’ll get sh*t, play him and lose and he’ll get sh*t.

    What would I do? Hmm, play him. We’re likely to lose this anyway imo, so might as well take the risk.

    And watch his groin go after five minutes.

    It is, or the James and Gusto rb midfield show.

    One thing i feel very sure about. We go Caicedo and Enzo as the alone midfield pivot we lose the midfield battle and get steamrollered.
