its a real worry when poch say the only match he has been disappointed with was Newcastle  think we all know the problem bye bye poch and take your family with you

Well that was as bad as it gets. Don’t think anyone comes out of that with much credit. Least of all the manager. I just don’t think a serious manager would go into a top flight game with Mudryk and Jackson upfront. They should not be starting Premier League matches. Poch is just not going to get a tune out of them. He’s tried and it’s broken him, and probably cost him his job. The sooner we get a couple of decent players upfront then the whole balance of the team and the team’s confidence will lift. It makes all the difference if you have a decent front line. Think that was the most inept display by a Chelsea forward and winger I’ve seen. And that’s saying something. Where did we find these guys? Blimey. What a mess we’re in.

I reacon Poch is making a point with James. Something has happened behind the scenes. Maybe it's a discipline thing or a power struggle but James Wasn't himself tonight and that's a worry.

Possible and it did not impact anything ...all the crosses for the goals came from that side. Disasi played much better in that position and Badiashile did not deserve to be dropped..

And one doesnt need to wait for long to change things. He should have brought in Badiashile for Cucu and moved Disasi to the right in the first alf itself.

Don't understand.  How can it not impact if all the crosses for the goals came from that side?

James should have started at right back. Cucurella struggles to play left back so right back is the strangest selection I've Seen from Poch.

What I meant was impact on this-> "Poch is making a point with James. Something has happened behind the scenes. Maybe it's a discipline thing or a power struggle" ,

James came in 2nd half and was equally poor.  Why change winning backline when Disasi played so better there, Kept Mitoma in pocket.

This is our season, a Rollercoaster, up, down, up down. Get used to it.

Our results are chaos and this is as expected, because we are a kids team - we are a bunch of kids.  Sometimes amazing, Often annoying, and totally all over the place.

All true. Its why many of us were against this ageist model they were insistent on implementing.  Those of us that were questioning this model were assured that its a project and these are some of the finest young talents in the world. Yeah right

I'm not angry. Just accepting that we're at best a midtable team nowadays.

The standards have fallen signifcantly in the past 18 months. I was expecting more from Pochettino at this point, but I think we need to see how this project evolves over the course of the season before completely writing him off.

Sorry, I don't rate him at all, every single match he passes the ball straight to the opposition.

He makes a good save here and there (like all professional goalkeepers do) but generally cancels that out by gifting the opposition big chances.

He's way too casual on the ball, there's no urgency to start attacks even when we are losing.

If he's our number 1 keeper then we're in big trouble.

I dont disagree, would love for us to have a far better keeper but I dont think he is our biggest issue atm IMO

Shearer commenting now on how poor our strikers are. He's saying we have to find someone who can finish more of the chances we create. Can't argue with him there.

I agree with him but the annoying part is that fans have been saying this for years even before Boehly came. It feels like out last good striker was Costa and Hazard when he played as a false 9. Not sure why the club (both Roman and Todd) have struggled to replace him. I hope Nkunku can be that person.

The only reason I get angry is probably the same way a bloke who gets cheated on would feel.

I have some sort of expectations, at times that are foolish despite people warning me, and I continue to get let down.

Exepctations should be top half of the table, anything more than that and you're setting yourself up for dissapointment

Kept us in it 1st half.

Not for me, but in truth is there anyone available better?   De Gea?  Dunno. Goalkeeping has changed (thanks to Pep imo) not for the better

What was up with Maatsen? Wanted to bring him on for Sterling then didn't right after United scored?

Poch wanted to defend the 1-1. We lost a goal, so needed to more goal threat.

You sure it was ETH, and not Pochettino,  who has lost half his dressing room?

How was it only 2-1 ?

Talk about making it easy for them... just poor all over - a bit of class from Palmer

The back... what a shambles... trying to play it out from the back when Manure were obviously well up for it and all over us from the start

Few great crosses from James but no one to put them away...

Seems like Tiago Silva thinks he should be manager or something - better Pooch puts him on the bench.

Think we missed Gallagher today 😁

IMHO, Jackson, Mudryk, Silva and Sanchez simply aren't good enough to start for Chelsea.

Antony and McTominay looking like world beaters.

Garnacho mugging off James. Antony megging Silva.

Never ceases to amaze me our ability to turn hasbeens into elite footballers.
