Antony and McTominay looking like world beaters.

Garnacho mugging off James. Antony megging Silva.

Never ceases to amaze me our ability to turn hasbeens into elite footballers.

Hasbeens?

Think you mean neverisgonnabees mate. Cause Garnacho and Antony as never gonna be elite footballers.

Poch has just got to stop playing Jackson and Mudryk. Neither are anywhere near Premier League level. He’s going to get sacked if he persists with those clowns. Send a message to the Board that he needs better forwards. Drop them and don’t play them again unless we’re leading by 2 clear goals at least and there’s five mins to play. Find a way to play without them. Do anything. Try any formation. Play anyone else. Try Maatsen, risk Broja, play Sterling as a false nine. Anything but those two bozos upfront. They’re not good enough. They’ve not repaid the confidence placed in them. Sometimes you've just got to face facts. We’ve bought a pair of duds.

We've arguably set back United a month with that performance. If we had beaten them tonight the Ten Hag out brigade might have seen hope that a change was around the corner. Now they are probably stuck with him at least for a few more weeks.

Only way the players, and club, will feel it is if the fans stop buying the tickets and the merch.

You think these guys care the fans boo them at a game or have to block them on social media?

Yeah am sure they are crying in their paychecks.

From kick off we were way too erratic and had no strategy or organisation. The worst thing about this game is that we lost it fair and square to an average Utd team at rock bottom. I don't know how we can fix this because we've already spent 1billion.

There were a few games this season where our performance deserved better result, this was definitely not one of them. We made mistakes after mistakes, the sequence of events leading up to the penalty ( thankfully saved), the first goal, the second goal, and towards the end where we couldn't put up a desperate lunge for a draw. Maybe it's the occasion of the game, or just players weren't physically ready, who knows but can't use the youth or fitness as excuses. We certainly didn't match up in effort, and they said United manager already lost half of the dressing room, so what are we ?🤔 We were fortunate it was only 1:2, could have been more and our lack of defence and midfield cover is a real concern. The ease the 2 goals were scored without a defender bothering him. I think Silva's mind is still sharp, but body couldn't keep up with it, while the rest are just lacking in both. Only Palmer and Sanchez could walk away with some credits, the result just not there. Not having a go at Poch, but if the boys gave everything as he said, our everything really doesn't have much.

It’s the mistakes that disappoint me,particularly the bad passing. Far too many underweight passes. Lots of other bad stuff including Poch screwing up the back line even worse than before but it was the mistakes in possession that I found frustrating.

Wolves ran through that Utd midfield for fun and gave them no end of problems... what do we do? Somehow give them all of the play in our defensive third and let them have 28 shots at goal with 9 on target. How the how did we do that to what is probably the worst Utd side we've seen in twenty years with a manager who's supposedly fallen out with half of the team.

Everyone should be utterly ashamed of that 'performance' I was so confident we'd actually do something positive and we do the complete opposite against a bunch of wasters.

Piss piss poor.

Ah remember the good old days when we had strikers like Drogba and Costa that could step up in big games knowing how important it was!

We'll start to sound like Liverpool soon talking about history cause we don't have much else to go on at the moment!

And perhaps like them we could be looking at 20 years in the wilderness.

I already accepted the fact that we're a mid table team this season. I'm starting to feel underdog in every game, especially against the teams that above us in the table and might be in a better form than us.

Yesterday performance was not accaptable. Tactically we got broke, physically we got broke, it terms of quality we got broke.

There are five principles in the game:

Attack, transition to defense, defense, transition to attack and set pieces. In all of them we were awful, simply awful.

I would blame the bench inexperience if our main players were playing their best and giving something to the game, but we had disaster, seriously.

Our buildup play is so childish, 2-3 pass and long kick, even in those 2-3 passes we are capable of losing the ball. The movement of our players is not understable, I'm not sure if our possession should be short passing game, medium-range passing game or long play.

Our quality as a team and per individual is so awful, maybe only Palmer showed something positive and also scored a nice goal. But where are the others? I understand that our confidence is sh*t right now, but these are professional football players that we bought for a lot of money.

In the end, I don't know what to expect from this season, maybe just to wait for all the injured players to comeback and pray, maybe Nkunku will bring something.

Agree with all the criticism here - too many poor players. Also, what gets me is that we spend all that money on two midfielders who look no better than Gallagher, while Liverpool spend £50m (?) on an unknown Hungarian who’s killing it! How can that happen?

That extra recovery time that united had was a very big factor.

United's been flying all over Europe for Champions League games for months while we've played 1 game a week and enjoyed more days off than anyone deserves.

Its a bullsh*t excuse and if I hear it one more time from the manager should be thrown out the front door, head first.

Hmm, are you saying that Klopp is clueless??

Why do we try to play fast passing football in front of our box when we clearly have a team that struggles with basic passing?

We embarrassed ourselves against an unmotivated, disorganised side enough already without gifting them chances because we're playing a style of football that's clearly beyond the ability of the players.

Meanwhile an 18 year old straight from their Academy with NO loan experience scored the winner for Brighton last night .

🤣

Btw it wasn't even the same 18 year old who scored against us on Sunday, this is a different one .

If Garnacho is a never going to be what does it make our young deadwood?

He's 19?  Already a much much better player than Mudryk, Broja, Madueke and maybe Jackson who are all a couple years older.

Think this shows our problem,  it's easy to look at young players outside the club and see or not think they'll ever be top players but there's a Delusion all our young duds will magically become top players if we wait 2? 4? 6? 8? Years.  Could be 10 but even our long contracts didn't have that level faith.

My point is Broja looked more like a proper centre-forward in the short time he was on the pitch than Jackson did all game.

Broja has better first touch, better ball control, more physical presence, better aerial ability, better positioning, looks quicker over the ground.

Why Pochettino won't rest Jackson and use Broja I don't know.

Todd's highly qualified data scientists may have asked the management to play Jackson for an X amount of games before he starts reproducing his Villarreal form. The alarming thing for me is that he's regressed since impressing in the first game against Pool.

Got to sort out our full backs.

For the first goal last night, Cucurella was so far out of position that he left two players unmarked on his supposed side. United switched the play to them, Disasi and Silva both leave the middle to pressure the cross (why both ? is there no communication ?)  leaving plenty of space for Maguire to shoot, and then McTominay to score after the ball rebounds off (who else) Cucurella..

And then for the second goal, Reece James is far too far in field, leaving Garnacho all the time in the world to put a nice cross into the back post, where our other full back (Colwill) has gone to ground far too easily leaving McTominay with a free header.

The defence is a shambles. I think he's changing it up too much, and trying to be too clever with round pegs in square holes.

Apart from finding a proper striker, the other thing I hope happens in January transfer window is that we manage to off-load Cucurella. He had a very short Purple patch where he picked up a bit, but he has sure as hell reverted back to what he was now.

There is so much wrong with his game IMO, it's hard to know where to start. Add in the physical short-comings of his lack of height and lack of strength, and it's hard to find any positives in him at all. Yes We've had small full-backs in the past who were quality. Petrescu and Ferrer spring straight to mind. But technically and, more importantly, positionally, they were miles better than Cucurella.

United were interested in the summer if I remember. Perhaps they will go back in for him. We would likely have a take a big loss though which is why I don't think he will be leaving any time soon. Clearlake will prioritize the sale of academy players to maximise the FFP return.
