Enzo and Caceido simply awful , over 200m we’re having a laugh

This!

What stopped us from buying two experienced pros from anywhere for the same £200m and be sure of what we were going to get added to a young, inexperienced and unqualified group of players to wear the Chelsea shirt.

Just ego and a misguided sense of superior knowledge in something you actually know not very much about in my opinion.

Came flying in, before Roman was even out the door, pulling down 20 year old structures and talking about how the old ownership didn't know how to maximise the potential of squad and doing things wrongly. Yet spending 1 billion you end up with not even a big pile of crap but little turd droplets all over the place.

That was awful, maybe one of the most disappointing displays I’ve watched from a Chelsea team.
They play out there like it’s a training match, no passion. Maybe a bit shown by Palmer.
why are we insisting on playing out from the back, we get caught time and time again. Our two £100m hero’s in the middle cannot pass the f**king ball. Then we get a chance to go forward and we will turn and play it back to our centre half’s who in turn plays it to the keeper who in turn kicks it to the opposition or out.

There are a lot of Silva fans on here and I know he was a great player but he is dictating our tempo and it is f**king dreadful and I’d like to see him dropped to the bench.

Jackson is pure sh*te, he tries but it’s not there. I don’t care if he has scored a few but most of those were against 9 men who were attacking us.
Nkunku is not going to make a difference to this team, I’m hoping Lavia can add some grit and determination and challenge those waste of space in our midfield.
Sterling needs a good team to shine, unfortunately he has come to the wrong place.

Finally what the f**k is James on!!! Strolls about there like gods gift, f**king shake yourself man, you have the skill set to be great.
The most sad thing for me is that because of me my grandson supports Chelsea. I have seen great days but I don’t know if they can return. I hate to see him hurt!!!

Sean Dyche in the stands must be rubbing his hands and can’t wait to get at is on Saturday. He’ll have his team pumped up to devour these passionless shower of prima Donna’s.

Bang on Goose, bang on mate

It truly is absolutely abysmal.

We look nervy as f**k and Man U know it so are pressing hard and crowding our midfield duo.

Cole Palmer needs to drop back and Mudryk and Sterling need to be working a lot lot harder.

Jimmy Floyd just said " i know playing out from the back is the thing in football now, but this wasn't the game for Chelsea to play in their own half , they needed to play their game in United's half";

We are so useless at it I don't know why we persist with this high risk, no reward tactic

Can somewhat forgive the first half as despite how poor we were we had a threat on the break but that second half was unforgivable.

With how frail that United team are we should have smelt blood at half time but instead surrendered the inactive and turned it into an attack vs defense game, I do actually look for mitigating circumstances in bad results young team and all that but can't defend that second half, pathetic.

I thought the same. Utd were very weak but we couldn't muster anywhere near enough attacking threat. They were there for the taking and we rolled over.

If those players had the confidence and mental strength we could have got a result.

It's starting to look like Pochs message isn't getting through.

I suspect Broja isn't 100% fit.

If he is I'd certainly give him a run in the team though. Why not ... need to try something different for sure.

Personally I'd play all the big lads. Thought we looked "small" again this evening, and getting bullied in all the duels, losing most of them, misplacing passes as a result.

Even if he isn't 100% fit. I would start him and take him off when he's knackered. Jackson needs a few games coming on from the bench.

Totally agree with your second point. We looked very lightweight. We need some physicality, some strong, powerful players. Particularly in the middle of midfield. This is what I thought Caicedo was brought for. No doubt an Essien enforcer type midfielder would make a huge difference.

Poch apparently showed them clips of the yellow cards we received this week. I wonder if this played a part in our weak, tepid display? Players too scared to get stuck in.

And we seem to have a thing for shushing everyone on the rare occasion we score a goal. Who the feck are we to shush anyone when we are slightly above the relegation zone? Pathetic group of players.

They have unearned arrogance. They take that arrogance into the next game and they don't back it up with any kind of performance. My message to them is that if they think they are all that, go and do it in 90% of your games. They can't though because that would require them to actually care about performing in a Chelsea shirt.

There is no future tense where this team challenges for any type of trophy  It is simply at best a bottom half team filled with over rated youngsters and over paid for apparent superstars trained by a fraud of a manager living of a reputation with Spurs. The sad thing is there is no way back for us

If that's their reaction to that, then they are all seriously lacking in the brain department.

Poch must be pulling his hair out at this lot. He did say in mid pre-season that he needed a lot more experience in the squad, and the DoFs didn't give him any.

Patience required I guess ...

No I agree with you. What I mean is that when we get to the last two months if we are 12th - 14th still when the teams below us start scrapping for their lives I just can't see us matching that. These players have no perception as to how to club together and fight through adversity

You're right.

But it's not the scrapping that will do us in it's the Delusion some of our fans, our manager and owners and our players have that they're talented when they're not.

We're an untalented team, we need to be parking the bus and trying to scrape points which is sad instead because of what we've spent we're playing this open style football were we don't have the talent to pull it off.

Everton have picked up more points than us this calender year they do it because they know how we need to play.

We're trying to play it out from the back with a keeper Brighton dropped for being bad with his feet.

Trying to play a high line with a 39 year old CB in a back 4 being protected by a chubby Argentinan who makes Jorginho look like Makelele off the ball.

And setting up in a way that ensures we'll trade chances with the opposition despite going unto the season with front line (minus Sterling) with the least amount of goals in the country.

We believe we're much better than we are,  a team with 6 wins in 27 games and we're not remotely trying to be solid.  Boggles the mind.

Poch - Why did he changed the backline ? dropped Badiashile and brought in Cucurella  ??? Tactical genius my foot...

I reacon Poch is making a point with James. Something has happened behind the scenes. Maybe it's a discipline thing or a power struggle but James Wasn't himself tonight and that's a worry.

^^ This.

12 goals shipped in the last 4 games now.

Desperately need a clean sheet.

Marking from crosses doesn't seem to cross any of the players' minds.

Conceded the same goal 50 times now.

I'm sure some others will pick away at some of these points or give you the roll eyes, but I think that's a pretty fair assessment on all point.

Except the chubby Argentinian bit. You want chubby, ill show you chubby!

James has been like this for a long time but it is usually glossed over

And I've told you a million times not to exaggerate LOL.

For sure our defenders seem to lack awareness of where the opposition players are ... even in open play.

Our game is evolving, this team will be amazing one day

Hold your nerve, don't panic

I'm not sure how though. In the ten years it'll take this team to evolve the players will be deemed too old for this sh*t model and they'll be sold for unknown emerging Qatari and Saudi Arabian players that we will be paying 10 times over the price for on 15 year contracts. That and the obligatory 8 year old Brazilian superstars that we've unearthed.

Shearer commenting now on how poor our strikers are. He's saying we have to find someone who can finish more of the chances we create. Can't argue with him there.

The problem in the first half was the decision making.  Too slow and wrong options too often, so we didn't even get to take a shot from some very promising breaks.

I don't understand why professional players can't just do that. Coaching shouldn't even come into it. These blokes have been playing football since they were 8 years old - it should be instinctive by now.
