Back home. A lazy win against the worst team that has visited SB this season. But I never thought that we’d win as easily as we did because we struggle, and generally lose, against this type of teams. I’m surprised about the apathy that Sheffield Utd showed, little effort at coming at us, as if they’d not studied any of our lost games against low table teams.

Sheffield United are not the worst team to visit Stamford Bridge this season.

That was a tough watch today. I don’t tend to think about Value for money with a season ticket but I would have been angry at half time had a bought a ticket for today. Reading through the whole thread I agree with people who state we look like the same team as of the last few years with 4-5 different managers/ coaches.

1st half slow passing lack of movement, at times they almost looked like Manikins. No one apart from Silva, Palmer & Gallagher tried a probing difficult pass. A pass most of the time is only as good as the movement into space to receive it, this is one of the reasons we don’t create or score more goals.

second half was an improvement but Players like Palmer paper over the cracks we have in our squad. Watch how he only moved about 6-7 yards to score his goal. I hope Jackson can learn this is necessary as a striker. I still think some of these aren’t going to be good enough. You need to show glimpses of magic even when not playing well. That’s the difference between Palmer and the likes of Jackson and others we’ve signed.

we could of gone through our own youth first and maybe come to the same journey but at least it wouldn’t have cost over a billion pound!! I hope I see this new player Nkunku on Tuesday, starting to think he doesn’t exist!!!

Job done.

Reminded me of the Luton game, better side dismissed a Championship group of players with ease. Only difference is Broja missed a sitter and Jackson did not vs Luton.

Nothing to be excited about, hopefully we do the job against Newcastle, then we have something to look forward to.

A win is a win, even it's against possibly the worst team in the league. The game is basically a repeat of last week, unfortunately opposition was tootheless, and we were able to put up some meaningful attacks in the second half. Sterling, Palmer, Caicedo all had good spell in the game and decided the game, second goal was a gift but no complain since we are on the receiving end. Gallagher showed why he deserved to start, not the most talented but one can't argue against hard work, commitment and urgency. Not sure why Enzo was dropped, but we actually showed good energy with Caicedo, Gallagher, Palmer etc. Mudryk is still the same, and hopefully that miss didn't do Broja much emotional damage, he looked a bit shell shocked afterwards.

dropping Enzo to play Palmer was the right move and absolutely key. Gave us enough nous in front of goal to make use of all the possession and cost us nothing in defence.
Passing in the first half was garbage. Still Badishile played great, Caicedo was mostly good in h2. Gallagher worked his socks off and mostly was effective. Mudryck is growing into his position.  Silva starting to really look past it.

Why is Jackson moving out wide there? Just stay central and keep the defenders occupied.

Brain of a flip flop...

Another positive:

First time for a while that we've been in front and not given the opposition an easy goal to get back in it - I saw Silva trying a couple of times but they're so bad we got away with that too 😁

It was important win, but the expectations are the same, we can play sh*t in the next game, consisteny is the key.

Feeling little bit sad that we're celebration a two win a row at home... this is far away from being Chelsea.

It got past me… (nevertheless, we are not the visitors even if this team doesn’t look like a Chelsea team at time)
