I don't think it would make much difference who is in charge as long as they are expected to play a lot of these expensive flops. I actually think we would look better playing some of the academy kids like Gilchrist, than some of the rubbish we have signed.

You obviously haven't been following our U21 side this season then LOL. They are 14th in their league (out of 21) and got spanked 5-0 by Oxford in the EFL Trophy, so out of that already !

Wolves were sh*te and played the most basic football - punting crosses into the box - and we still conspired to lose.

We'd be doing better with Allardyce or Warnock in charge rather than this disorganised rabble.

Allardyce and Warnock for all their detractors would instill a defined pattern of play  and discipline into the squad, not that I would advocate either for us. Allardyce to be fair became more the manager he is via the clubs he managed and played a more attacking game when he had players like Okocha, Djorkaeff, Anelka, and Campo at his disposal.

Petrovic - looks okay but completely out of his depth in dealing with crosses. Yet to be convinced he is a step up from Sanchez,  just knew not to mess around at the back.

Gusto - again I am still yet to be convinced. Small, lightweight and prone to touch and control errors.

Disasi - can't believe that we are looking to bomb off Chalobah as he is not good enough, with this guy as the answer. Immobile and again far too error prone.

Silva - excellent but father time cannot be stopped. Love the guy but the fact that he is playing week in week out should put every other player to shame.

Colwill - I'm still yet to see what all the hype was for. I'm not totally convinced of him as a CB yet, as he is still just a kid learning, but he is well short as a LB.

Ugochukwu  - can't say too much against him. He's a kid learning so should only be getting games here and there. Did okay today. If Pochettino's set up wasn't so sh*t he might have been a solid foundation.

Gallagher- tried his best, played out of position and could have been sent off again due to Mudryk appalling pass.

Palmer - tried, but with the blatantly obvious lack of coaching and pattern work done in training, developed no chemistry with any other players and so was constantly getting in each others way.

Jackson - hahahaha.  I remember seeing Craig Fagan when he used to play for Colchester in League 1. Ringer.

Sterling - unbelievably frustrating player. This guy's propensity for friendly fire could make him a US army General. If Poch does end up at Spurs perhaps Sterling can go with him, because to fck up 3 on 0 is the quintessence of Spursyness.

Broja - another lad who takes mythological abilities when he is not playing.  Miles off and definitely needs a loan just to see if he is even good enough.

Nkunku - too good for an unstructured,  disorganised, Poch and team sh*t show of a set up. Coming from Germany I bet this dishevelled organisation will be a culture shock to Nkunku.

Other subs - meh.

Another defeat for our U23's team created by the board.

Nkunku did well though, he's more threating half fit than a fully fit Broja and Jackson.

The board have got some serious thinking to do in January, do we continue with these limp attackers and go for mid table safety or do we address one of the most obvious problems in top level football that a team with money has got and give ourselves a chance of possibly winning a cup or even sneaking into a European position.

Nkunku hasn't come to the Premier League to be the same level as Wolves & Bournemouth.

The directors of football at this club need to earn their money and explain in layman terms to the board members why just randomly buying youngsters doesn't give you immediate results without more experienced players or preferably Premier League experience in the mix.

Merry Christmas all!

Isn't this the directors of football speciality though? Wasn't this the very reason they were employed and aren't these generational talents the ones they have fantastically unearthed.

I doubt Boehly could find his ar$ehole with a mirror, let alone some fantastic Brazilian third division superstar ready to burst upon the commercially retarded premier league

Yep, this ownership is intent on a root and branch dismantling of everything that is Chelsea. Women's team next. Emma's going, fcked that up. Sam Kerr signed a new contract yet. These muppets truly are killing our club. Cancerous.

Actually it wouldn't surprise me if in two months he is down to the level of the rest of the dross here. I mentioned it under Potter and got caned for it because of the poor way I worded my post, but definitely the fitness work, the patterns, tactics and strategies we do in training, if in fact we do anything, seems to make our players deteriorate. I think this is valid although I agree that we would not intentionally do this. It comes from this relentless and ridiculous approach of not using players in their area of strength but trying to shoehorn players into other roles.

That's a concern.

But In fairness to Nkunku he was actually a quality player before we signed him unless most the crap we signed and decided to pretend were top prospects.

So Clearlake have managed to ruin the academy too. Presumably they will move their magic on to the women's team next.

Which of your so called expensive flops have you allowed to play, you prefer Sterling, Jackson and Gallagher to them.

Enzo and Caicedo didn't play today, so which "expensive flop" played today? Now you even don't want another manager to come in to help the team.

Caicedo is clearly a top player, Enzo is clearly a top player, Palmer, Madueke, Mudryk and Sterling will all make a good team with a top defense supporting them. You say your cheap players like Gallagher is very good, they keep playing and the team is not doing well, instead of removing these people and supporting your real players, you say your expensive players are not good.

None of our expensive players is a flop. Consider what you write before you write it.

I don't think they've been entrenched long enough to have had much effect on the academy one way or another. Bum crop of under 8s in 2013/14 most probably to blame !

Enzo how much time needs to show that 120 million are worthed ? Mudryk plays 2 good games and next 5 poor games

Why are these clearly top players. On what evidence are you basing this other then your opinion or hope.

I am referring to a lot of expensive players that were brought in as squad fillers when they look no better than what we already had in the academy. I agree that both Enzo and Caicedo are both decent players, but neither were available today. Both Disasi and Badiashile look ropey at the back for example, and neither were cheap. Disasi was 38m! I'd be much more confident with Chalobah than either of them. Ugochukwu may be good in a few years ago but he doesn't look ready right now.

Mate try and stay consistent eh? You have blasted Conor the whole time, fair enough. You also have been blasting Sterling since the beginning of the season and how the manager should not be picking him ahead of Mudryk and Madueke but now Raheem is in your praises and made level to Mudryk and Madueke. Lol.

If you look at some of the things Disasi and Badiashile have done since they came, they are not overpriced, they are still decent players, the fans and the manager have not allowed the team to settle down, I don't know what the manager and the fans want.

Ugochukwu is just a squad player. Leave him out of this, a good team would have players like him on the bench.

Disasi makes at least one bad mistake every game and now Badiashile is trying to outdo him with bad errors in last two appearances. If all defenders are fit, wouldn't be starting either of these two.

Sterling could still be a false nine, since Jackson is not doing well. What I was saying before is that Sterling is not as creative as Madueke or Mudryk if they have a good midfield, he can be a false nine, that is why I added him to that list.

This is the Premier league mate, you are playing against the best players in the world, you will find it difficult at times. But what I'm saying is the noise around the team is too much, the fans need to support the team from outside, take the support to football matches.

If we set up the team well, the defensive midfielders will also be supporting the defenders, the right back, the goalkeeper and the left back will all be supporting the defenders, so the team will be ok.

Two different games. Same outcome 0-0 then defeats

Chelsea have to get rid of this self absorbed, overrated waste of space ASAP

if he's not grabbing penalties of team mates or misplacing passes he's missing chances or he's doing the above. Horrendous awful, awful player.

Hopefully some Saudi prince will be watching YouTube clips made by his PR team and take him of of us in Jan.

I want Mourinho back. He’d absolutely rinse the lot of these twats who just aren’t Chelsea standards

To still think Mourinho is relevant as a manager is simply mindblowing. It's like wanting back your ex wife who cheated on you with the whole neighbourhood. But on top of that she is now fat, ugly, old and has not had sex in bastard years because no sane man would look at her. But you still want her. Clearly you have a problem.

Go back a few months ago and watch the Inter v Roma (1-0) match. Disgusting. An insult to this sport. Abject performance. This sport is played with the ball at feet with the objective to put it in the back of the net. Roma did not even try to touch it. Embarrassing.

Mourinho is a washed up manager who was left behind modern football long time ago. To still think he is fit for a top club is insane.

You never know. He came back to us the last time and won the premier league. He probably wanted to change his tactics at United, also at Roma.

He might still be a top coach.

Yeah sure, thats why he can't put Roma on top 4 despite all inconsistent opponents each season . Lats night i saw a team which play dirty just for others teams to suffer not his team to be on top.

Let's look on the bright side.

Nkunku first goal for us! And it gets me 5 points in Zetas league! Woo-hoo!

Don't let it spoil your Christmas guys, be a new year soon and we are two games away from a domestic final. Things can get better  🙂

Who are you?

The moment Gary O’Neil told his player to go down in the 15th-20th minute and gave his team instructions, it changed everything.
Jackson and Broja were terrible and yet again Poch only made a change when after we concede.

All season every manager we’ve come up across has been more proactive than Poch.

Not really.

Wolves didn't do much the whole game. All their chance came from dumb mistake (silva three times, it is time to retire) and set pieces.

There is no tactic that can fix attacker get fed ball in the box with tons of space and it led to nothing again and again.
