I know fully expect several shirts to be thrown at me for peanuts, as the store won't be able to sell a single one. What a great new season this is already!

I guess a combination of the way Dutch fans sway from one side to another and a wavy shirt would have made viewers very dizzy.

The new shirt reminded me of the Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds but perhaps White Rabbit by the Great Society and then covered by Jefferson Airplane may be more appropriate. Based on the works of Lewis Carroll. Won't post the song but here are the lyrics.

I don't know why they can't just stick to the classic "historical" design in blue (for home), and then vary the solid colours each season for 2nd/3rd kits etc. A bit like the old Adidas 3-stripe leisure polo shirts in the 80s when you could get them in multiple colour variations but the design was the same for each. I had blue, yellow, orange and green - 1 person 4 sales. No one in their right mind is wearing one of these hideous designs when they are out and about.

Our recent run of kits under Nike is even more strange considering the fact retro kits are the ones in ‘vogue’, so it’s not even like Nike are hopping on trends.

Wasnt there a theory about GK jersys a while back... Odd shades/ colours have a different effect on strikers or something about being in the eyeline. 

Give me more GK jersys from the 1994 world cup. Reckon Kepa would have loved the Campos lollipop one. I did own the USA tony Monola one.
