Nike have a shop in Wembley if you saw this shirt without the Chelsea badge no one would think £80 that's a bit of me I'll have that 🤣. Also the shirt and shorts are dreadful did they think well we've taken the piss best leave the socks as just plain white.

It seems I'm the only one to like the shirt, but I'm with you on the shorts. An ensemble with a multicoloured top is better with monocoloured shorts.

Why!

If you're going to be sick then might as well do it properly over the shirt and shorts!

It's official.  Looks awful in my opinion. It's years since I've bought a club shirt and I won't be buying this one.

Matched only by the dreadful photography to launch it ... almost as if they know how hideous the design is so are trying to hide it in the dark LOL.

What load of crap about all that blue flame nonsense as well.

What a load of "marketing" bollocks :  it's a f**king football shirt ffs !!!!

Chelsea Football Club and Nike are thrilled to unveil our latest home kit for the upcoming season, featuring a bold new design that has never been seen before on a Chelsea shirt.

A new era under head coaches Enzo Maresca and Sonia Bompastor brings with it new energy, new passion, and a new fire.

The hottest part of the flame burns blue

The centrepiece of the new home shirt is the vibrant blue colour, symbolising the hottest part of a flame, and the burning passion to unite the entire club behind a shared ambition to succeed on and off the pitch.

Adding a unique touch to the design, an orange accent colour represents a different kind of fire coming through the ranks at the club.

Chelsea’s Cobham training centre is world-renowned for nurturing talent onto the world’s stage. Our current Men’s and Women’s squad are a blend of exciting homegrown and international youth talent, ready to make their mark. This orange accent serves as a symbol of their vibrant energy and potential.

Continuing the story of Chelsea's historic success and the dynamic culture of London, the home shirt features a distinctive 'melting pot' pattern. Resembling liquid gold and silver, this pattern represents the fusion of Chelsea's rich legacy with the ever-hot youth culture of the city.

It is a symbol of the club's past achievements and our commitment to embracing the future.

Chelsea is a passionate, diverse global community. One that embraces pioneers, expects excellence and plays with a burning pride. Our home shirt is a showcase of that. This is the fans' energy. The players' energy. The city's energy. We Burn Blue.

The new Chelsea home shirt is set to become an iconic symbol of the club's spirit and ambition. Fans can proudly wear it and show their support for the team as we embark together on another exciting season.

Technical innovation using 4D data-driven design

Chelsea’s 2024/25 men's and women's kits are made with Dri-FIT ADV, Nike’s pinnacle standard for performance apparel. Through data measured using advanced body-mapping technology, this season’s kits provide mobility, breathability and venting exactly where needed most.

The technical innovation sets new standards in designing for precision-tuned athletic performance. Each element of the kit was enhanced using 4D data-driven design and computational design methods.

Infusing new energy into the colour direction, Nike’s design takes traditional club colours and augments them through the lens of light and movement. The home kit pushes the colour palette in a unique direction while maintaining the club’s aesthetic identity.

The new men’s, women’s and kids' kits will be on sale from 15 July from our online store and the Megastore at Stamford Bridge.

Retail shirts available to buy worldwide from today will have no ‘front of shirt’ branding.

If a 'front of shirt' partner is subsequently announced in the future, fans will have the opportunity to purchase this version via the Megastore or online store.

Unfortunately, the club cannot offer fans the opportunity to return blank shirts for partner branding to be applied post-purchase at any retail site.

Club have also confirmed a few squad numbers for USA Tour.

Levi Colwill taking Thiago Silva's old #6 and relinquishing JT's #26

Wesley Fofana moving from #33 to #29

Tosin Adarabioyo #4 (as he was at Fulham)

Marc Guiu #38 (as he was at Barcelona)

Omari Kellyman #37

Renato Veiga #40 (as he was at Basle)

KDH #22 (as he was at Leicester)

No sponsor again?

I thought they said we were run poorly when they took over.

As for the kit well yeah I don't think much more needs to be said.

I'm in London on Friday and if I have time will wander along to the club shop to see if the shirt is as hideous as looks in the photos. Will I be able to curb the desire to set fire to them? The marketing of shirts suggests flames so can put the idea to the test.

I've seen some awful Chelsea shirts in the past but this is the worst. Club and the designers should be embarrassed. It will be interesting to see how many will be sold.
