and those 3 lads just don't score any goals

Nope. How would with a fit Lavia for Caicedo or Enzo and a fit Carney instead of Gallagher.

It is hilarious nobody here talk about silva which is by far the biggest problem.

Not sure if he’s our biggest problem but certainly a 39year old central defender who has lost his pace should not be first choice. He still reads the game well and his timing, control and passing is wonderful but this does not hide the obvious.
Todays third goal where I think he was trying to jockey the player from about 5 yds does not work and has no impact on the attacker in what direction he wants to go or pass he wants to pick. Silva can’t afford to get too tight as he could get skinned but at least a couple of yards away would have influence.
Also, and this must be Pochs instruction, all our play starts through him and is criminally show in the build up.

If you watch this game and you don't think silva is by far our biggest problem then I can't help you.

I posted Wolves gameplan here after 10 min. It is a stupid gameplan than cannot work unless your opp CB is silva.

Yeah you’re right it’s his fault caicedo got caught messing around in midfield (happens nearly every game) or gusto hacks down the wolves attacker.

Not to mention the absolute sitters missed by Sterling and Jackson.

Have to say that was pretty disgraceful. Players were really poor. We all know some of the players aren’t up to it and the manager’s been unlucky with injuries and lousy recruitment. But he’s been given a fair crack and we don’t look like we’re being coached well or are playing to any pattern. It’s just so random. Poch will be lucky to still be manager tomorrow.

Enzo has two this season, but he only wakes up when Caicedo is off the field.  He is a passenger for most of our games.

I mean it is not that Gallagher is not putting in the effort in.  We do appreciate the effort.  But if you are playing as the advanced midfield player at this level you need to score goals and/or create chances [shots] that can then be pounced by strikers poaching.  [we would also need strikers capable of poaching].

I'm not even going to bother trying to work out how we've come to this, I honestly can't see that another manager sacking is going to help .

It's all a big f**k up all over the club, from the scatter gun transfers, the massive loan army with fingers crossed that other clubs will develop our players, while our own academy develops players just to sell on .

I could go on,  but everything is f**king depressing , our defending must be pure comedy time for everyone else to watch.

That's it , beerio time !

I give up. We now because of huge wages and long contracts have loads of unsalable players who are not good enough. Playing Caicedo every game because we payed £100m and not because he is playing well. I am sorry but a 39 year old CB will never be good enough.

He scored a goal but he's too slow and takes the pace out of our attack with his sideways play.

Having said that I thought Sterling was woeful today... Gusto was shyte too... Caicedo gifted them the first goal...

I'm not sure Sterling and Chilwell can play together... must have seen Chilwell give the ball to Sterling and run on 4-5 times and every time Sterling tried to cut inside instead of giving it back to Chilwell ???

I like Chilwell but he's no LB ... seems like we're weak down that side now he's back.

Defense was awful today, Jackson missed 2 easy goals again...

Another bad day at the office.

Are you not Brighton anyway?

His passing is not a problem. The fact that he cannot cover wide are is by far the biggest problem.

That seems a tad harsh to say the he’s biggest problem. But ok, there are issues with his use, but let’s not imagine that without Silva wed surging up the table.

It’s without doubt a real collective disaster.

Thiago also scored, which is more than Galagher or Caicedo have done all season. . .

I mean we know Thiago is older, but seriously he is NOT our biggest issue by a long way

His pace is our issue. Was fixed by playing a back 5 but playing a back 4 with silva is suicide, especially with a half fit chilwell and a fat slodge disasi next to him

No manager sorts this lot out.

We took a huge gamble on big money players who are essentially duds.

No character or any spine of leaders in the team to drive lads on when the game is going against you or even to up the ante when required.

Sacking Pochettino might placate some, but it will do nothing to solve the poor attitude and quality of players we have.

Long way back for us I’m afraid.

Well, we’re playing with no tactics, just totally fluid positioning too, so just about any manager would improve this lot.

Maybe that guy at Brighton who had Mudryk, Colwill & Caicedo looking like a world beaters.
