It is 100% football related. I haven’t watched a managers pre/post match talk since Jose left.

The style of football we are playing and Enzo is promoting goes against every form of entertainment or tactical nouse known. We are boring, eye watering so. We do not dominate games, we do not play to our own squads strengths. The product we are being supplied is abysmal and it is solely down to the manager and his tactics and vision.

It is one of my hobbies. I use a ton of time on it and love it. This forum is a big part of it. Sadly it is not that much of a fun place these days. There is a ton of negativity and arrogance.

I’m not one to have a go at fellow “hobbyists” but I have to take huge exceptions to almost everything you post. You constantly put a positive spin on the points you want to make then completely under value the real concerns everyone else has.

You don’t listen and you can’t be watching our games in their entirety because some of the things you post are way beyond an opinion and bordering on idiocy. I’m all for differing opinions but when your opinion is so far away from reality it’s difficult to engage with you.

    What are you talking about? I searched up Chelsea's results in 2025 at home and they were all battling relegation or won the league. What point are you trying to make here?

    The problem we all have is we are all dying to win our next two games. We need it, the club because it will be the new owners first trophy a monkey gone and financially because of their incompetence. The players need it because their young etc and us fans need something to bloody smile about. CL and completing the set sounds great to me. But we’re also terrified it will most certainly mean another season of Meresca. That in itself has to be the worst indictment of a manager there could be. We are stuck with our owners but we can only hope they learn fast from their mistakes. The sporting directors and the manager have to go. Things can change fast with those 3 gone. We don’t have to see this out for 5yrs. Sack the 3, a good young squad is there. And plenty of fringe players to cash in on. A sporting director who knows what he’s doing, a winner in the dug out and an experienced, class first team spine and we’re back in business.

    We're only second in chances created because of the first half of the season. Where we created 20 or 30 chances in some games.

    Every other team were genuinely scared of what we could become, if we just tightened the defence up. instead Maresca was so fanatical about defence

    he forgot that you have to attack. He has that small club manager approach of rather than win, DON'T LOSE. Totally negative.

    You see the players have no enjoyment in playing, petrified of a risky pass, MUSTN'T LOSE THE BALL.

    Since Marescas sideline ban, subtle things have altered, during that game we played with a freedom, that Caballero was cheering on.

    When Maresca talks to the players they have a vacant uninterested look on their faces, but with Caballero they have an intent look.

    The first game after his ban, the pre match huddle none of them were paying any attention, as soon as he pissed off, they were straight back into an animated huddle of their own.

    Again last night, after half time, they all walked past Maresca, and had their own huddle again. When the going gets tough, they've learned to ignore the twat.

    This whole "people need to understand this isn't the same Chelsea" argument that Maresca keeps repeating would be fine if we weren't spending like we did in the old times.

    Truth is we are spending way more than we ever did under Roman. We are stockpiling players at an outrageous rate, and seem to be doing so just for the sake of it.

    It's true this isn't the same Chelsea anymore. With the money we're spending we should be doing way better than Roman's Chelsea ever did.

    Your football is beyond boring and stupid. We will never win a league or CL with him in charge. It’s just never going to happen.

    I said it before and I will say it again the stupid pass pass pass era is over it’s done as seen this season and it’s City’s fall off.

    No version of Maresca’s football will get us any league or CL success it’s just never going to happen.

    City got done by Palace because of their stupid slow side to side passing and that’s what Maresca is trying to turn us into.

    It verges on trolling doesn't it. I'm convinced he's using AI for bants. Going into ChatGPT, gauging the general consensus of opinion across the forum and then requesting the polar opposite comment to post just to get posters to bite.

    Most of the comments he posts are so ludicrous that it has to be to wind people up on purpose.

    The squad is not ready because of decisions made by the owners.

    The situation is different because of decisions made by the owners

    Neither of those decisions (and many others) were required, or necessary, or intelligent, but were guaranteed to destroy the trophy laden great football club that we were when we were sold ..( which btw was debt free...)

    You keep bringing up our previous owner We've moved on mate, doesn't mean we have to accept or be happy with our disaster of an ownership though

    Yes the squad is weaker, but then in comparison so is pretty much every other PL sides. The league itself is much much worse than it has been in the last 20 years.

    I’d say the real issue we have is the players supplied by the SD’s (and that’s the model we use so it’s not worth questioning) aren’t being played to their potential due a rigid and outdated system being implemented by the manager.

    We can call the board as much as we want for the financial decisions they’ve made, that’s ergo to the tactical missteps we’ve been plagued with all season.

    Maresca has been supplied (and will continue to be supplied with) some of the most exciting attacking talent around. Potential remains an issue but is any player seriously going to reach that when the tactics they’re being spoon-fed are the recycling of possession non stop and maintaining a rigid shape. No.

    Palmer is the greatest example, yes Poch played chaosball most of the season, but look how he shone being allowed to be creative. Look how devoid of any hint of enthusiasm he’s had since Christmas since this ‘pass back, pass back, pass back’ has come in.
