You're straight up lying if you're going to pretend like he was playing some liquid football that had the fans roaring. The quotes are there for all to see.The same geriatric fans that turned on Maresca from match week one and feel like it's some sort in that denotes you a true fan for wanting everyone and everything out. It's a cacophony of contradictions from drones that are stuck in the matrix. You don't actually want to win or understand what it takes to win consistently.

You don't actually want to win or understand what it takes to win consistently. Its okay that you never watched Chelsea's Mourinho during his first stint, you've made it abundantly clear from your posts about OG wonderkids from 5 years ago that you're young. I'm not going to hold it against you for not being around back then, but please don't lie on our greatest ever managers name. The general consensus amongst fans is that 80% of last season was the most boring and dull football we've seen played at the Bridge. Maresca had us score 64 goals over the season. This imaginary boredom you've invented under Mourinho had us scoring 70.4 goals on average over his 5 full seasons. He only scored less than 70 in a single season. You might not get over much from Canada but its well known that Liverpool's home atmosphere is dogsh*t in the league. You probably see the speakers blurting YNWA before kick off but then you won't see the 90 minutes of silence that follows it on Youtube, St James' Park - great atmosphere. Selhurst Park - surprisingly good atmosphere. Make a trip over to Atlantic to see a few games and judge it on first hand experience - Stamford Bridge is pretty flat, so is 90% of the league.

Zero chants, zero culture, zero songs besides the classic CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA or "we hate totnum"But it's easier to blame a first year manager and groan at your own players because it's feigns the appearance of standard when it actually reveals a lack of class and culture within the club. But you're going to learn to love Maresca because he's Clearlake's guy and he isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Defending the gaffer at this club = a crime to dinosaur individuals who consider themselves lovers of Chelsea. You are toxic.Such backwards logic and I'm glad Clearlake has made you uncomfortable. It's a new era, and what little relevancy you believed you had has been full muted.Be a good fan and do what little is required of you and back your manager or your players even when it's uncomfortable. That's what it means to be a proper fan.
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Look at the state of these fans. Players deathly terrified of what's supposed to be representing them in the stands. Chalobah and Sanchez playing erratically and with zero confidence.Remember when Caicedo said he enjoyed playing away from Stamford Bridge more than playing at home? Should never be the case. Would we have won the CWC with this atmosphere and support?Majority of our fans would prefer to bully their manager and players instead of rallying behind them and being the 12th man on the pitch. Worst atmosphere in the league bar none. Edited August 1, 2025Aug 1 by drool winner
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Spamming Maresca prop in this thread. It shouldn't be a crime or be made to feel wrong to support your manager and wish the best for him.Instead we should be alienating the freaks that booed him 30 mins into MD1.Laughed at and mocked him as a “championship manager” and actively challenged his football in the grounds. Meanwhile he secured UCL football with only Tuchel in 21/22 achieving more points in the last 6 seasons.Til the end gaffer.

Ramires, Willian and Oscar were work horses (similar to Gallagher and Mount who you hate) and not creative geniuses so not really relevant to the point. Google the definition of a big chance created and you'll see how nonsense and subjective it is. Saka missed half the season and created the second most 'big chances' last season because he spams crosses and corner kicks all game. How can you claim to supoprt a club that you've evidently never visited or watched live? Supporting Chelsea for you is no different to being a Game of Thrones fan and getting excited for the next episode each week. Go to a game, cheer on the team, do more than the bare minimum to 'support' a club you chose on Fifa.

Drawing parallels between Ramires and Oscar with Mount and Gallagher should be a banneble offense. You're exposing yourself. We still had far better attacking options back then.Hazard >= PalmerTorres & Washed Eto'o > Jackson & NkunkuOscar > MaduekeWillian <= NetoSchürrle & Ba > George & SanchoOur attack was abysmal this season and there was a massive lack of quality all season long.I do agree with you that Big Chances can be fugazi and statpadded by set pieces, but we were dominant in attacking metrics across the board whether that be Big Chances, Chances Created, Shots on target. We were top two.In terms of Cole Palmer he was also top two for essentially every creative metric. 2nd for chances created.2nd for big chancesIDENTICAL expected assists as Salah, but 10 less real assists. He had no help. The system created chances but was lacking dire quality.I feel like it's harsh to blame the manager for this. He's turned us from our worst ever PL defensive season under Pochettino to a top three defensive record in the league, and he's created a system that appears to be working in terms of expected stats and chance creation. The next phase to elevate this unit would be simply an increase of talent at his disposal. That's where hopefully Xavi Simons and Joao Pedro come in. I'm bullish on Gittens and liked what I've seen from Neto as the season has gone on.

He has this 80's-90's view of Chelsea and his own club. He totally discredits everything we did pre-Roman and in Roman era. But that is his problem. We consistently beat him and humbled him when he was at this peak. He probably couldn't handle it mentally so he's blocked all those negative memories. He probably talks about Chelsea with his dad and they just go on about Kenny Dalglish and old Pool legends. Sad. I really hope we start to hit the heights with this new and exciting squad so we can shut his mouth once more.

Mikel needs to be on there so those two dimwits get pushback instead of Rory f**king Jenkins.
