Strasbourg lost to 2 penalties, one in the 99th minute, and miss out on Europe all together.

No issue for Blue co now, regardless of which European competition we play in.

Shame for Strasbourg.

I’m confused about who I should be supporting on Wednesday (United v Spurs).

Are you hoping for a United or Spurs? What are your reasons?

Short term, a United win is probably better as they’ll be on a high going into the Villa game. Long term, it could help them rebuild though.

Spurs - short term. Will put United on a downer going into the villa game. Long term, no effect as Ange is useful and Levy is tight anyway so they’ll waste the money.

I'd rather continue the hilarity of Spurs never winning anyway. Man itd winning the EL means nothing to anyone.

One of those rare occasions where a handsome Arsenal win would be good for us tomorrow.

Newcastle have a plus 3 goal difference on us. That late Bruno goal last week was unfortunate.

However if Arsenal decide they want to give their fans one final good home performance and win by 4 goals it drags Newcastle back in to play for us.

Was looking back at their results, recent form not looking good for a high scoreline. Not to mention in their last 3 games against each other, Arsenal have not only failed to score a single goal, they lost all 3. 😅

Alright you heard it here first ladies and gents.

Arsenal 5-0 Newcastle. You can thank myself and term x tomorrow 👍

How can you be confused? Whatever the circumstances are, I never want to see Spurs win a trophy. Ever.

So yes I really hope United win on Wednesday, spurs can f*ck off.

I agree with most of this, apart from United winning Europa game. I think if they win the final, they will be so hungover, they will not turn up for Sunday because they will be partying too much and prob will get the day off after training due to being hungover. If they lose, then it is back to the drawing board and in what has been an awful season, they will want to end the season with some form of pride, in their final game which is at home. They win Europa, it is almost as this game becomes more irrelevant. Look how below par Liverpool looked against us after they beat Spurs and played us after. I think the outcome probably would have been different had Liverpool not sealed title week before.

Congrats to Palace. There's an example of a club without any trophy ever ,but with fans as passionate and loyal as any of the top football clubs. It's the same all over the country.

I remember when they were actually in the old 3rd division in the 70s .

AND so happy to see Pep fuming at the end !

City are such bad losers. They have been so used to dominance and now they are finally going trophyless as well as not faring any kind of title battle, you see they toy out their prams. Henderson went to shake Pep's hand and Pep's reaction is to have a go at him about time wasting. When they drew with Southampton last week, who saw Dias interview on MOTD? He went on a whole rant about Southampton not even trying to attack and how they behaved during the game. Maybe City should look at themselves and criticise themselves for failing to score a goal in open play against Southampton this season. Just utter petulance you see when City lose or drop points.

Henderson has always been a top keeper, remember that standout season he had for Sheffield United, when they finished 9th, we were linked with him.. but since he was at United, it was an impossible negotiation. Probably found his level though, as he’s not all that consistent, but nonetheless, fair play. Man of the match, incredible stuff.

That was the season his namesake Jordan won the Footballer of The Year. I remember reading a comment "Jordan Henderson Footballer of the Year? He wasn't even the best Henderson".

Peter Taylor etc. Don't remind me. That game in 1976 was absolute torture.

Congratulations to Palace on their 1st ever major trophy.

Always good to see the underdog win (unless it's Tottenham).

After Newcastle and Palace, it looks all set up for Spuds. And, er, Betis.

Honestly, I kinda want Nottm to beat West Ham and come out playing against us, we're much better against opposition that tries to get something out of the game. Won't be easy, but we have to win anyway because Villa are definitely beating that sh*te United team. If anything I expect either City/Newcastle to fall if they're beaten at their next game.
