1-2 VVD

Premier League/Serie A disparity on show. Liverpool dominating whilst not even getting out of first gear. Should be 1-4.

Milan can't live with the pace and pressing. Serie A has always been a slower league, but it used to be the best for organisation and knowing how to control a game of football, not anymore though, they've lost that. The league no longer produces the best defenders either.

It's more the tactical set up that's screwing them over.

If I didn't know better I'd say this was a Poch coached side.

Chelsea old boys not impressing, but Tammy did skin TAA. Morata as crap as ever.

Leao was horrific. Didn’t track back and ruined every attacking chance. People still complaining we should’ve signed him over Mudryk.

Giorgio Chiellini blamed Guardiola and tiki-taka style tactics 6 years ago.

Quote

"Guardiolismo has ruined many Italian defenders a bit -- now defenders know how to set the tone of play and they can spread the ball, but they don't know how to mark. Unfortunately, that's the way it is.

"When I was young, we used to do drills to get a feel for the man you were making. Nowadays, from crosses, Italian defenders -- and I can only really talk for Italian defenders, I am only relatively interested about foreign players -- don't mark their man.

"It's a great pity because we're losing our DNA a bit and some of those characteristics which had made us excel in the world."

It's an upside down world when defenders who are good at the basics of defending, and goalkeepers who are good at making saves, are being overlooked in favour of others who can sometimes do a bit of nice passing ...

RLC was never quick but he looked so pedestrian. Pulisic does what he does: nice goal, then disappear. Not tracking back, Liverpool wingers had a field day. Leao as lazy as all get out for that matter too.

Not a rival but this weekend Vitesse Arnhem will pay their respects to the British and other Airborne Divisions when they play A**x. Here's a tribute from another season. Always important to remember true heroes and legends.

That's quality. Good on them.

Boring, boring Arsenal…

They have become very unwatchable this season, seems Arteta’s tactics is to stick 4 CBs behind the ball, hit it long and hope for the best. Their Fans are not yet complaining but I can see the wheels coming off in the next 11 games. They have City, PSG, Liverpool, Newcastle, Inter and Chelsea sandwiched in those fixtures.

Agree but both play a similar style lineup. 4 cb, big dm in front of them + tall no 9.

Basically lineup that will make Tony pulis proud of
