Only the first one that would be just enough to be classified as world class. And what do you mean 'attracted' to neto? in what way?Last season he scored 10 PL goals, for reference this would be double Neto's highest ever PL goal tally in a single season (8th season). If 10 goals for Palmer is 'poor', then 5 goals for Neto is absolutely abysmal. Thank you for proving my point.By attracted i mean there must be some form of arousal to defend someone so painfully average. Hope this clears up any confusion.
Monday at 11:583 days Doesnt offer enough end product. I dont really have an issue with him as he has survived the summer cull and the manager obviously see's something in his game. Im genuinely interested to see what Alonso can do.IMO Neto is a far less effective Willian. Dare I say it, but I'd much rather have kept George, who on here wasnt good enough, but had more redeeming qualities than Neto and would have saved us spending on Gittens, Garnacho and Neto (circa 150 million).Always do this, but probably good to compare how both George and Pedro handle the season and finish with the better stats. Put George in my Fantasy team ahead of Neto so that's my take on it.It's also why Im keen for Alonso to work some magic with the squad he has (if possible) and be given 18 months to sort out the mess he has inherited from the past 3 seasons.Madueke hasnt kicked on since moving to Arsenal, didnt really impress at the world cup, glad he's no longer here, think I'll eventually say the same about Neto, but hope he can up his game while he's here, he's probably a demon on the five a side kick abouts.

Palmer has multiple world class seasons to fall back on if he has a quiet game, i genuinely can't remember a single game where Neto was the stand out player in a Chelsea shirt. Anywho, Palmer actually manager 2 shots on target in the game, Neto managed a grand total of zero. He lost the ball less, which is impressive seeing as he played 20 minutes longer than Neto (10 times v 14 times). Carried the ball further. Even on his bad day, he's still head and shoulders above Netonyahu.Look, its okay to be attracted to Neto, that won't make him a good player though. Just lock yourself in a dark room and whisper sweet nothings to your Neto shrine, one day the voice in your head may reply.Wow, so having two shots on target constitutes having a good game. Fantatic analysis. Let’s praise anyone who takes a shot outside the area and gets it on target as having a good game…No it is not the Palmer thread but how about you show the same level of criticism to other players who don’t turn up.So our best player who has had multiple ‘world class’ seasons gets a reprieve because of this. He should be able to live to those standards and perform in big games. Name me one big game Palmer has performed in the league away from home? I dont mean Tottenham btw…You just any reason you criticise him. Doing so yesterday is just petulant.Anyway, it doesn’t surprise me coming from someone who thought Garnacho was going to be a top player.I don’t swing that way but I am assuming you envy is looks or he stole your missus… Edited Monday at 13:193 days by STATS

Just going to ignore the rest of it? Oh i forgot, running in a straight line and losing the ball is all that really matters. PSG club world cup final. Away from home. 2 goals 1 assist. MOTM. Now show me Lomba's MOTM performance. Look, of all the players to die on the hill protecting you've picked the funniest one. Of the 4 PL seasons Garnacho has under his belt, he scored more than Neto's best ever PL total lmao. I'm happy to say Garnacho was ass, you're the one still tugging one out over someone who can't even match his stats as a 19 year old. "he stole your missus" f**kin hell mate you got me there, not sure how i'll recover from that one. Bet they love that at the mental asylum.

Hat trick against Utd. Every time we play Spurs. Still waiting for a single good Neto game. He played wing back (apparently) yet spent more time closer to the Arsenal goal than Palmer. One shot OFF TARGET is f**king awful. Why would i give encouragement to someone making us worse? Lets encourage Bakayoko and Cuadrado while we're at it. f**k it, bring back Badiashile from his loan. Maybe Neto will read your posts and let you watch him shower one day. Keep praying for it buddy.

Your comment was just a usual ‘class clown’ comment. He worked his socks off yesterday and I acknowledged his crossing was poor but to say he had a terrible game is ridiculous. Especially when you dig out one player.Btw last season Neto actually scored and assisted in quite a few games. Please try Arsenal away, Liverpool away, City away, United away. I love Palmer but seeing as he is our best player, he should be doing more and it is a regular thing that these type of games he does not make an impact.Anyway, same way you show me these heat maps which does not paint a full narrative, let’s look at match reports from neutrals and Chelsea fans. You want me to show more??https://www.facebook.com/chelseabreakingnewsohume/posts/for-me-pedro-neto-was-chelseas-best-player-against-arsenal-yesterdayhe-worked-ha/1525644656245582/https://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2026/sep/06/arsenal-v-chelsea-premier-league-livehttps://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-fc-ratings-vs-arsenal-rogers-joao-pedro-martinez-b1295945.html Edited Monday at 16:373 days by STATS

Anyone who saw that game knew he was ineffective.Oh so because he is an African, it means that his opinion means nothing? He clearly is a Chelsea fan. You do realise Chelsea has a huge fanbase in Africa and they watch the exact same game. Palmer, I am not sh*tting on. I am proving a point to show how you are selective. Palmer is a world class player but in big away games he does not turn up and is average and should be doing better. I am not talking about games at home. Away from home in league, he has never shown in any big league game.I did not say Neto was great, but he definitely was not sh*t as you say. And he was up and down against the best Arsenal defence. I promise you, most Chelsea fans and Arsenal fans alone realise he put effort in and had a decent game. You are just nitpicking. Majority of ratings would defo tell you neto was decent. But your judging of players is by heatmaps. We get you hate him and that is the real reason you are bashing him rather than actually thinking he was sh*t. I am sure you rated Garnacho for less last season.

You make it sound as if people saying neto is better than palmer in general which is obviously not the case but that doesn't mean palmer can not have a poorer game than neto. Take the arsenal game for example, while neto might not have a stellar game, he certainly had a decent game compared to other Chelsea players but your view is constant that he always played very poorly. You went hyperbole with praise for the player you like (or sexually attracted) and grossly criticize the player you don't fancy at every opportunity regardless of his performance. Tuesday at 09:063 days vs Arsenal, Neto was the second worst Chelsea player on the pitch, just ahead of Fofana. He was poor defensively (which I struggle to have a go at him for as he’s a winger not a defender) and beyond wasteful going forward. Crossing was pathetic, passing and positioning were consistently poor and these are basics he should be excelling at in this system.I think for a lot of people (Not El Cheesey obviously) the thought of Neto far exceeds the actual ability of Neto. You picture a quick direct winger, you get an out of position, terrible touch, unable to cross, poor decision making wide man. Essentially the Madeira Madueke. The point is moot because at full strength he doesn’t start for us, he becomes the 4th choice RB (Palestra, Gusto & James) and 6th/7th choice attacking option (JP, CP, Rogers, Stevie, Quenda, Welbeck) and this whole thread can go to the Jackson graveyard.

Tuesday at 11:163 days Not really sure what the debate is all about, he's just an okay player who puts in a good shift. Against arsenal he was one of our best attackers but 1) that's not saying much seeing as all were poor and 2) every time he did something good he made a poor final decision as usual
