As those c**ts were sh*thousing from kick off onwards, it's a miracle nobody got sent off either after retaliating or after some scouserish playacting. Top restraint from our lads, on top of the clean sheet.

Yeah, I don't know what's come over me either.

Terrible from the attackers and Maresca today. Should never have started Sancho, he's horrible in games like today, we've seen that a few times this season. Jackson was wasteful as usual, and anybody saying he is doing fine is wrong. If we're ever going to compete for titles again, we need a striker that will take his chances in games like today, it's what separates the best from everybody else. Neto was the best of the attackers, but it was mostly just running around trying to force something to happen.

Hopefully another lesson for this young group has been learned today. Hopefully just a blip after a really good run of form.

I don't disagree with you, but the attackers who started did do much better than the two that came on as sub. A few comments about Madueke, but Nkunku was even more anonymous than Noni

Shame it's going I think. Goodison one of the few classic old grounds left. Worth a dozen Pride Parks, Riverside etc. Forest is another beaut

I agree as far as football heritage is concerned it’s always sad to lose that history but it’s a big money business now gone are those days

Meh. Horrible part of the country and escaped with a point.
Jacksons finishing cost us today, again. To be taken seriously we need a striker who can consistently do the simple stuff right.

Maresca got it wrong with Sancho today, was never the kind of game where he’s effective.

Gusto looks abysmal in this formation compared to his output last season

Couple of key saves from Sanchez and a monster block from Tosin saved some embarrassment.

Expectations for him are higher so I am sure its harsh but I am counting up towards 10 poor league games from Palmer so far this season. Again today I thought he was a huge disappointment with wayward touches and what not.

He needs to work on his consistency and general play if he wants to be the best player in the league. Scores more than him but he's nowhere near the level for example Hazard was playing at for us or even Mata for me.

This happens when you leave the subs so late. It was obvious at half time that things weren't right. Once things didn't improve after those first 5 minutes of the second half, he should have made the changes. The problem also was the he made the wrong subs. He should have taken off Sancho, not Neto. Neto should have moved to the left. I would have preferred Palmer move to the right, just to get him on the ball more and bring Nkunku or Felix on to play behind Jackson.

We didn't do enough to make Everton think.

Dyche laid down a blueprint in how to stop us.

Strange from the team with the ball bouncing off them half the time.

A clean sheet is something and Tosin did well. Sanchez had a go at opening them up but a bad day for Palmer.

Sancho being kept on for 90 minutes is odd from Maresca who might have been better served giving Felix a vote of confidence.

Hopefully a return to winning ways on Boxing Day (Stephen's Day in Ireland), my 60th birthday.

Tbf, they're coming into a game that's too heated up. You need to get on it right from the start and that's a tough ask.

50% blame on Maresca for the timing. Should have came on at minute 55

Maresca got it wrong, he was due one, still a young manager learning on the job.

When did he last mess up? I think it was at OT.

If you have to take a silver lining our attack isn’t a problem, we’ve been outstanding this season, off day, conditions, sh*t house team, it’s disappointing but the reasons are clear.

As far as our defence the attackers are normally bailing them out today it was the opposite to see that side of our game evolve is a bigger positive moving forward than if we just attacked well we know we can do that.

Onwards we go.

Agree with all of that Scott !

Maybe Neto isn't 100% fit ? Sancho was very disappointing today, especially seeing how much of the ball he saw ... I'm struggling to remember one meaningful contribution from him in attack.

Yep sad to see some of these old grounds disappear, the atmosphere has always been good at Goodison. I remember when they used to have those weird half circles behind the goals courtesy of fan bad behaviour.  Forest is a good one too as is Stoke and Wednesday.

Neto has history of being injury prone, I'm glad Maresca took him out. Our best RW right now

Another positive, (blimey Just and Sconnie will wonder what is happening to me).

Our defence, which had Gusto and Disasi both our of position, and Sanchez in goal, kept a clean sheet.

Noice Thats Nice GIF

Yep it is. Bar the f**k up from Disasi, everything was controlled and adequately dealt with
