Just as well play the first XI if anyone knows what that is these days; just in the hope that we can score some goals and get back to winning ways.

Yeah maybe.

Honestly don't care who he picks for this game. It is an annoyance to me we have a whole week to wait for the FA Cup. We need league game after league game, Saturday to Wednesday, drill this lot and get them out of their funk, and give the managers head a wobble or 2.

maybe have a game against a team not in the cup next week..although he must have a 2nd XI wandering around Cobham somewhere you would think.

Don't they have fatigue apparently

You doubt Jackson would start, or you doubt Jackson would score?

I think it might be a good opportunity for him to get some confidence back. See if he can terrorise Morcambe's defence like Delap did to us last week.

4-2-2-2 experiment for this one. None of the wingers are setting the world alight, so what the hell ... bench them all !

Two up top, with Nkunku supporting Guiu. Felix and Chukwuemeka playing in attacking midfield between the lines. Casadei and Caicedo as the positionally disciplined double pivot in DM. Width from Chilwell and Gusto at full back. A rest for Colwill so Veiga at LCB. Take-your-pick at RCB (I went with Tosin).

I know at least 4 of these have zero chance of being involved, but a man can dream ... 🙂

It's a great tie for them, as it was for Barrow in the league cup.

One of those magic of the cup draws that those players may never get again and their club might not get again for decades, or longer.

I used to love FA Cup weekends. The giant killings, the road to Wembley and a chance to win the famous old cup.

Those series of finals and semi finals we have blown have stung, but worse is the not having the belief we can deal with a good PL side, so our chances to actually do something, other than wait to be knocked out by said PL side, takes the fun out of it for me.

If Anselmino is able to play then I would like to see:

Jorgensen

Acheampong

Anselmino

Tosin

Samuels-Smith

KDH

Veiga

Madueke

Felix

George

Guiu
