Garnacho is a fraud, a fake player, who Argentina refuse to acknowledge the existence of. He can’t beat a man, no final ball, head down and run merchant, with zero football IQ, unfixable. Hundreds of games under his belt and all we’ve got is balls forward/carry stats, meaningless as it excludes context to those runs, and contributions, for which the eye test discounts every single time.

Serie A will not ‘sort him out’, he is garbage and a loan will do nobody any good, it needs to be a straight sale. Never to be spoken of again.

I did like the look of him but i watched a piece on YT by Younes and both Kone's and Camavinga's injury record is poor. That would be before our lot got hold of them. We'd never see either of them

Everything wrong with him is because of his attitude. He isn't working hard enough in training, he isn't taking in what he needs to do.

The raw talent is definitely there otherwise he wouldn't have broken through at United at the age he did.

I get what you are saying but I don't think its the right approach in the cutthroat environment of elite sport. Tyrique George isn't here because Garnacho is. Rio Ngumoah is at Liverpool because of the stockpiling of LW players, all of which thus far have been inferior to him.

Every player has raw talent, it is virtually impossible to get through the system to become a pro without it. Even the lucky ones that make and the unlucky ones that just fall short all have very similar levels of raw talent. That gets a toe in the door. Its about what you do then and frankly this guy for me has never shown anything to support the career he has had so far.

I dread to think how many players have fallen by the wayside simply because of players like him blocking their path. Its never a truly level playing field. The coaches don't weigh up Garnacho vs Gittens vs George vs Derry vs Eboue each week to pick the best at that time. Eboue is at the bottom of that pile looking up and thinking what's the point with this lot in front of me, whereas in reality Garnacho is crap, Gittens is as raw as sushi, George is gone and Derry is on loan. But could we lose a real talent like Eboue over time, quite probably if we are clogged up with losers who don't have the right attitude and don't work hard enough.

One of the early and most pleasing things that i am seeing from Alonso is that quietly but quite noticeably the ones that have been in the firing line are those that could have or have shown attitude issues. I am still expecting to see something happen regarding Fernandez and Jackson unless our cretin SDs fck it asll up. I think XA is still keeping his cards close to his chest.

I think it also has a knock on effect on our youth players progression, increasingly a reduced number of loan placings available for progression opportunities as our loan places increasingly being used as a glorified storage facility for deadwood who we can't shift.
