We are rumoured to be one of several clubs interested in Bournemouths 19 year old CB.

He is said to have a release clause.

Maybe the player we would like to sign to replace Trev when we move him on in the summer.

He is brilliant and one of the best CB in his age range along with Cubarsi. Wanted him last season when he left Juventus but I don’t think we would have made him a starter at that age alongside Colwill. Make no mistake he is going to be the lynchpin of the Spanish defence alongside Cubarsi for many decades. Fans will argue that we need an experienced CB, but he is such a generational talent you just have to buy him now. Has there ever been a Spanish CB that has flopped in the PL? Can’t remember any.

I agree. He looks quality and it would be better to go in for him before he inevitably attracts interest from a lot of other clubs. He would at least fit the profile given that he is young and could potentially generate profit in the future.

Any idea his release clause?

I couldn't find any information on the details. I suspect it won't be cheap though.

Not heard any confirmation of the amount yet, common guess is 60mill euros.

Oh geez, you've just ruined the poor lad's career

Got to laugh at his age. Honestly thought he was 22-23.

We will never learn. Didn't we recall Anselmino?

I've gone full circle.

Anselmino came in to start training. Two days later we recalled Trev. Hmm?

Looks really good and mature for his age playing in a well oiled Bournemouth team.

Stick him in our shambles of a defense he’ll make that random lad that started for City look like John Terry.  He’ll be dithering like a sh*ting dog after the first hospital pass from Bob SancheZ.

I want a proper defender.  One that would  give Sanchez a right bollocking and hopefully a smack round the back of the head for some of his calamitous escapades. Yeah I’m still pissed of by him.  Twat.

A summer transfer target for Madrid. If we want him we will need to activate the clause before the season ends, and send Kepa the other way to sweeten the deal

This is the sort of player we would have gone for in the Roman Era. A good player/ very good player , who could become a great player for the club. He's too expensive to fit whatever bizarre model we are currently working to and probably wouldn't  increase in value following his exile in Strasbourg.

If our model of signing young players were of this calibre, it would be one I could back, but for the most part, our owners have been gambling on kids that have a lot of questions marks against how good they could be.

I don't think we will get Huijsen. I expect him to go to Liverpool and be Van Dijk's replacement.

They'll also likely get Kerkez too to replace Robinson.

There's a reason Boehly wanted to do anything to bring in Edwards.

It’s gaining traction. I know he’s very highly rated but honestly I would prefer someone like Tah, a centre back with leadership and experience.

I want them both as watching Villa yesterday just reminded me that Disasi is still in our books alongside Badiashile. We need a total revamp at the back yet again.

Huijsen plays at left centre back - same as Colwill LOL.

So is he coming to bench Colwill, or play alongside him with one of them out of position ?

He's played RCB if he's partnering Senesi, i imagine this will be a proper back up for Fofana

I hope we get this fella, a step up in quality and potential imo.

Should be straight into the starting 11 and is head and shoulders above what we currently have.

An elite level footballer in the making and we don't have too many of those just now.

Whatever he costs can be offset against the sale of 2 or 3 lesser centre backs and we have several of them.
