Commentators are doing my head in. Just peddling the same excuses Maresca has been using. "Struggling to create chances without Jackson"..........it was an issue with Jackson too. It's not something that has happened because of one injury, it's something that happened the moment Maresca started forcing the implementation of his system.

Is there anyone on here that thinks Maresca is the right man for this job and ever did? Genuine question as I don't know anyone that did / does bar our board.

Has anyone told Maresca that if this goes to penalties the players are obliged by the rules to kick the ball forwards?

I haven't been as critical of Maresca as the rest of the forum, but if we get knocked out here he has to go.

This is the only trophy we have a chance of winning and he puts a bench side out, we only have a one goal lead, zero ambition.

Nope. Never wanted him and for me he face planted immediately by publicly throwing Chilwell away with some bullsh*t comments showing then that he is clearly a glove puppet. Really early days as well that was.

EDIT- Just to clarify I'm no particular Chilwell fanboy, but it was a ridiculous level of grandstanding by him which he then went on to completely contradict.
