Who’s gonna stop Arsenal winning the league next season with Pep gone, it sure isn’t gonna be Maresca. As much as I’m glad to see the end of the Pep era, I thought we would be ready by the time that happened. Sigh.

I think with the blatant corruption in the SFA to hand the great unwashed the title. Coupled with Stoke on Thames winning the league with some of the most heinous set piece routines in recent memory down here. This could actually be the worst season of football in my lifetime.

Seconded.

I can't believe Citeh have given the gig to Maresca, but I am absolutely delighted. Despite all their money I think things could go south for them very quickly.

Could be like Man U after Ferguson retired.

The squad Ferguson left behind was a pretty big mess that he managed to drag to a final title by signing Van Persie. Man City's squad is still world-class.

That said, I'm all for it. Who's the 2026 equivalent of Marouane Fellaini?

Surely the only reason they are taking on Maresca is because he looks like Pep and they hope their thick as f**k players dont realise theyve swapped....like when a parent accidentally kils their kids gerbil and needs to replace it.

Hmmm, you sound like you're speaking from personal experience there @dkw. SHAME on you!!

No chance, I didnt do that......it was a goldfish not a gerbil.

True. But Bernado Silva has just left and time and injuries look to be catching up with Rodri. Two world class, irreplacable players for them.

And given how Maresca handles young players, I give him all of three weeks to completely f**k up the talented Nico O'Reilly and then throw him under the bus.

Arteta is a f**king twat and so is that rat face c**t, Havertz.

0 red cards for Arsenal this season… and penalties against them.

Arsenal and their scum of a fanbase won’t be remembered as worthy champions.

Best of all, due to Maresca upping and offing, we receive quite a bit of compensation if and when City appoint him.

The goldfish fitted where the gerbil usually goes?

It was a very hairy goldfish...

Going from Guardiola to Maresca is like going from a McLaren to a FIAT. Absolutely bizarre appointment.

We’d do well to put a sneaky bid in for Cherki & O’Reilly who will both regress massively under Haramball.

As a Fiat 500 owner I resent that. I think you meant an Ape:

I didn't know that Dermott. Definately an unexpected bonus.

Today I warmly recommended Graham Potter ("lovely man") to my Cleaning Solution supporting colleague, deeply unhappy about this season, in case there's a similar agreement in place for him 🤑

Every. Single. Game.

They get away with murder. Zero red cards or penalties all season tells you everything you need to know. This league title has been manufactures by PGMOL to prevent City winning it again. Farce.

Citeh more or less handed it to Arsenal, albeit with a little help from their friends.

They've done an awful disservice to the game of football allowing that sh*te to win the title.
