The gulf is unbelievable. Southampton could have already been turning the screw on this Arsenal side, but they will choke like all these sides do.Pardon?
April 4Apr 4 The nickname of the big Scottish lump who scored for Southampton is ‘ the lochness Drogba’Haha,
April 4Apr 4 Hope we don’t get Southampton or West Ham/Leeds in the semi, better to get either knocked out or beat a decent side in the semi-finals than humiliated in the final after an easy run.
April 4Apr 4 From "quadruple is on" to back to back Cup losses.Arsenal have Bournemouth, City and Newcastle next.City have us, Arsenal and Burnley next.Crucial weeks ahead. If only Bournemouth can take a point from Arsenal, it's game on. City are on the up and will trash us, we simply do not have a defence to match them.

Just been refreshing the BBC website. Lol. In fairness I did say that I liked what the Southampton manager was doing.

Really can’t stomach another Wembley final loss, lost count now. Man City will be dying for it too, with them missing out on serious silverware.

April 4Apr 4 I'm just happy that after Arteta manufactured all that bo**ocks about 11 of them pulling out of their international matches with fake injuries, the next game they get beat. Just want them to lose to Bournemouth now at the weekend
April 4Apr 4 Well my no chance scenario is alive then. Now we need to draw Southampton and have Leeds or west Ham knock out City

April 5Apr 5 Looks a case of Arteta not respecting the cup, too many changes and the Saints played cleverly especially up front, Scienza caught my eye not because of his missed chances just his running on the ball and cleverly bringing in other players to support the attack. They also worked very hard.In defence they were very compact. It bursts Arsenals record of invincibility they will now be conscious of not dropping points and I suspect no more risking Kepa in goal. On Saints they won 5 of their last 6 and if they win the game in hand are in the play-off spaces.

Defence was shambolic, especially Ben White. Saints too easily isolated individual defenders. And, yet again, wasted opportunities in front of goal. Without Gyökeres as a target they just fiddle around.
