Gittens should be loaned out in January absolute sh*te, George gets a lot of protection being Chelsea youth but he’s equally crap.

We're going to lose a lot of money on Gittens, if he were an academy player I'd be saying he looks like he could do with a loan at a top championship team, but he cost £50m!

Yeah usually you can’t tell when there’s a player in there and just needs games but nothing about him shows there’s any quality at all.

Don’t know if a win is just prolonging the misery, but see you all Saturday morning bright and early for more

I actually think he might be better coming off the bench though if that means Gittens starts then maybe not.

I have heard United fans say he offered more when used as a sub.

And the easy solution is Neto left, Estevaoright, and Garnacho used as a sub for whichever one later.

Don't matter the kick off time no chance for us when we go to Newcastle.

Gittens is the Tosin of wingers.

George needs a move.

Yeah, I can see us taking a £49m hit when we do eventually sell him.

I feel for George but yes he needs to go, not good enough.

Gittens was a waste of money.

Buonanotte did end up getting the assist but he looks like a waste of a loan.

Hato needs to improve because this is simply not the level.

Tosin… would rather not speak.

Well that starting eleven failed its audition. Pity we missed out on selling George over the summer. Guiu badly needs a loan at a lower level then quietly shipped back to Spain. Gittens will battle it out with Mudryk for most expensive flop. Not sure how Buenonotte was ever considered an understudy to Palmer. And Jorgensen did a passable impression of a nervous wreck.

All in all, a useful night to see where the squad are. Garnacho and Neto are first choice wingers for a reason. Still waiting for Pedro to wake up though.

Gittens wasnt getting a regular start in Germany if i remember correctly. You would have thought that might have raised doubts, and to pay 51 million or so, we must be missing something. Todd said we should learn from the Americans - well over to you Todd lets see you get him off our roster for profit and /or playing some good soccer.

Looking on the bright side, he never gets injured, as he never goes near the ball.

Ah becoming a hero cause he has spoken out against the true villans?

Funny that because Johnny Minerals in his video yesterday said it was all a ruse set up to get the supporters to back Maresca, it looks like he could be right, unfortunately i still want Maresca out

There has been a question looming recently as to who will be sacrificed to make room for Quenda next year. I think it is crystal clear Gittens is the player. I have also come to a conclusion that most players sold by Dortmund struggle to adapt to new teams

Quite funny that we end up in the Semi Finals of a domestic cup after only having to beat Lincoln, Wolves B and Cardiff. Probably won't get an easier draw than that in the next 50 years ! Hot on the heels of the Club World Cup, this is further evidence, if required, that Maresca is a "lucky" manager.

Better to be lucky than good really, in life that is.

Funny, the reaction, after his comments post-Everton, because despite pretty much everything, his flaws and so on, it did put things in perspective, ‘the reality of him actually going’, as I can’t think of another serious name, ready for this. The SD’s really need to go, as normally, this wouldn’t even be a conundrum.

You can only beat what's in front of you, but the draw has been very favourable.

Really puzzled by our transfer policy at times. If Gittens was bought for 15-20 million then I can see how he might be a player we could develop and eventually sell on for a modest profit. As it is, we paid what? 55-60m? How does that even work? He looks like a work in progress, the odd promising flash, but that fee makes no sense unless he’s a world class talent in the making. It’s a huge gamble. Glad it’s not my money.

You need to take salary n age into account.

The owners are stockpiling more attacking players , because that’s what the market wants the most - difference makers, assist makers, goal scorers so the hedge fund owners are hedging their bets and hoping one or two of them will come good and go for a big profit, Noni went to the gooners for about a smaller margin than sh*ttens cost. Neto cost 54 mill, 3 more than sh*ttens at least he’s proving that worth. Garnacho a snip at 40 mill looks good vs a Div 3 outfit but in the prem he’s started as he left off at United. His best season there 23-24 7 goals. George they nearly trousered 22 mill off Fulham in the summer. Mudryk cost north of 70 mill , banned for now but notice hasn’t been terminated bc there may be salvage value and he’s unsellable now. Stevo 29 mill seems to be their best acquisition apparently his worth has tripled already. Lastly Palmer cost 42 mill , 9 less than sh*ttens but a has a talent alas that kittens will never ever have and colds value must of doubled at least.

There’s weaknesses all over the squad that the billion plus investment should have prevented (look at arse squad injury proofed finally last summer based on not winning EPL lessons learned ) but there’s a strategy by Clearfake we cannot see clearly through the fog of war on the pitches because we still think we support an elite trophy hungry football club.
