January 5Jan 5 Well that was absolutely inevitable after that interview yesterday ... perhaps they've moved quickly to hi-jack Liam Rosenior LOL
January 5Jan 5 Maresca to united. I'd prefer him to city, but would find it hysterical if Maresca ends up at old trafford.
January 5Jan 5 Amorim absolutely was the poster boy for the consequences of taking a "successful" manager from a weak league dominated by a handful of teams. I'm amazed he lasted 14 months. Bloke never seemed to have any clue what he was doing at any stage, and was so inflexibly welded to his 3-4-3 that never suited the personnel at his disposal that you'd have to question whether his UEFA coaching badges are actually real LOL
January 5Jan 5 Would be interesting to see after all the similar Enzo talk of interference and I'm a manager not a coach spiel if managers like Glasner and Iraola reject them like some kind of mass protest from managers. Would love to see Utd appoint a Darren Fletcher or Southgate. Surely they can't be that stupid though.

Equally, Offshore Jim and his acolytes were perfectly well aware of his ideologies when they took three separate private jets to Portugal to convince him to join. Not at the end of the season but immediately because, they said, the job wouldn't be available at the end of the season. So, basically, the blame is shared.31 minutes ago, Sexyfootball said:

Some are still in the building. The risk is not worth taking. It’s not going to change, doesn’t mean we should hound Rosenior before he’s even started. It’s making the worst out of a bad situation.

Derby fans wanted to keep him. Hull fans wanted to keep him. Strasbourg fans want to keep him.

The Hull owner, who makes BlueCo look like geniuses, sacked him because he didn't like the style of play. Hull subsequently plummeted.

Santos is clearly a very good player but we've had several promising players that have gone out on loan in recent times and none of them have had anything like the impact that Santos had last season, so I think credit for Rosenior is fair here. He also appears to have made something decent out of Moreira, who I initially thought was a complete BlueCo hospital pass to Strasbourg LOL

Everyone who has worked with him rates him I'm fine with the appointment. It's an interesting story. I don't think any manager is going to win us the league unless serious things change in the club strategy, so hiring a young Londoner who seems likable isn't the end of the world for me.

NO OF COURSE NOTIf we accept this sh*t then we will never ever get rid of the owners, dont come crying back on here when he fails just like Poch just like Potter just like Coco the clownBLUECO OUT Edited January 5Jan 5 by Caps_Lock_King

Much like we’ve gone from Sancho to Neto to Garnacho to Gittens. Disappointment after disappointment.

January 5Jan 5 So thats 2 "system" managers getting the boot in the first week of 2026, hopefully this sees that kind of coach now disappear and we never have to put up with inverted bullsh*t anymore. Edited January 5Jan 5 by dkw
January 5Jan 5 Find it strange that so many are against getting in such a novice manager, while also praising Arsenal for giving Arteta a chance and time to build.

We cant compare ourselves to anyone because we've just blown away so much money. That cost of Gittens has made me lose all hope.
January 5Jan 5 Does anyone know what system he played at Hull? We seem sure he's gonna play wing backs but maybe he was just making the most of what he had.

January 5Jan 5 Well, my mind is at rest as Wayne Rooney said he has "no doubts" that Rosenior could do a good job for Chelsea.
