I love how even non football fans can understand the rudimentary principal of closing gaps in midfield except the bald fraud previously at our disposal. Even Poch couldn’t f**king grasp it.

Hopefully Rosenior keeps it up.

What's crazy is it wasn't like that when he started and he even had examples during his tenure to see what works e.g. PSG. Then he goes away to a mid-table team with a heavily rotated squad and uses a 3-1 buildup, asking Caicedo to cover half of the UK.

It has to be the first time I’ve seen a manager who thinks along exactly the same lines as the fans. It’s such a refreshing change. I’m really hoping he can pull it off.

I do not think my keeper and defensive line should be playing keep ball in a meter squared area of each other.

but point taken

It’s quite the opposite, you can say whatever you want these days without any repercussions. You only have to take a look at some of the disgusting things chanted at the free Palestine rallies without anyonat a Free

Hundreds of people have been arrested at Free Palestine rallies for saying absolutely nothing. Simply holding a Free Palestine placard is enough to get you arrested.

When you believe in the dissolution of the world's only Jewish state, it might a bit of a clue, when you openly invite an organisation like Hamas and Hezbollah to parliment (despite there very obvious stated aim for being in existence, Should we quote narshralla, the dearly departed leader of Hezboulla who asked allah to bring all the jews to Israel so he can kill them all in one place? ) that might be a clue.

Or we could look at his quotes around UK jewry not really getting "English Irony"

By the way, during all of this, there was no October 7th and there was not even the suggestion of a genocide, (and there still is no genocide by any legal mesure) so yes when you single out one population for constant criticism, it might be because you have a bit of an agenda there (like being on the pay role of Iranian state TV)

Any way, I generally stick to the football sections of this forum to avoid this kind of garbage.

We should acknowledge however, that Christian Europe should have allowed Jews to live in safety and peace instead of centuries of anti Semitism, expulsions, pogroms, and the Holocaust.

British soldiers, officers, diplomats were murdered by Zionist terror gangs in Palestine prior to the creation of Israel.

WE used to sing about Hitler, Auschwitz and people being gassed.

Atrocities didn't start on October 7th.

Try 1948 .

That's it , over and out 👍

For saying nothing or for openly and publicly supporting a known terrorist organisation (Palestine action)? Bending the truth a bit here..

Who decided Palestine action was a terrorist group... Yes that's correct, the people that control the media and sponsor nearly all our mp's from both sides. The Palestinian people have been in an open air prison for 70 years.

Ahh, blaming the Jews. I see why you’re defending terrorist organisations now.

Anyway, DM me if you want to continue this. Back to the manger. UTC

The new gaffer gets a free pass from me till summer. Nothing against the person Maresca, typical of the new managerial style engulfing the game, but his football was (edit - F-ing) dreadful viewing.

So any departure from his style of football the next six months will get a big thumbs up from me. He has to find a way to get our best players all gunning for it because they can ball if allowed to.

Top bins - have it.

No body is denying the existence of actions or the stern gang, nor the hebron massacre, not the expulsion of ni on a million Jews from Arab countries, or the al husami meeting with Hitler. Or for that matter Stallin, killing over 20 million people, the atrocities of history are not confined to the jews, the middle east or any other one, pol pot etc etc, from some vantage points hiroshama... the rights and wrong of history have been and will be be debated adnosiam, im sure there is a history thread around here some where that I have no intention of gong any where near. All that said, i'm not sure what any of it has to do with Jezza's disproportionate obsession with the Jewish people. Honestly, I don't believe he's a nazi, actually i would argue strongly against it, I think we call that way to easily now because it's lost its meaning. But you don't have to be Nazi to be an anti semite.

I do believe this thread may well be shut down, our I might be looking down the barrel of a warning, or possible suspension, maybe even a complete ban, who know's. So that will be my last on the topic, if you would like to discuss it further and in a respectful manner, you can DM me (we have DM's here right?)

Only one game in but the only game I can compare it to is that Lincoln game where for a pretty much a whole half of football they looked like the better team. Yesterday we controlled the game from the start and showed intent to actually score goals.

I’ve got a good feeling about Resenoir that he’ll do some good work. Feel confident that he’ll turn our form around

Ay love the positivity. We need more of it.

Goals... 🤤 stuff dreams are made of... Just let palmer enjoy his football. Free him from the tactics board.

Yeah the only thing that annoyed me was the movement up top, especially in the first half. But that's nothing I expect Liam to fix immediately and the fact that he acknowledged it after the match was good.

I also noted that Andre Santos shared a big hug with Liam at the final whistle. He definitely seems to be happy with the new manager and thrived under him at Strasbourg. Will be interesting to see if he now gets more starts in the Premier League.

I imagine A. Santos will be his special player after their time together at Strasbourg, which is great news after how under utilised he was under Maresca. Maresca even had him as a box crashing 8 FFS he really was an awful manager.

Better start to his managerial career at Chelsea than Fletcher at Utd. lol

But seriously, I don't want to read too much into this win vs Charlton, there's still a long long way to go for Rosenior to establish himself. I'd also rather not be too hopeful now and then disappointed later. For me, this season is already done. It'd be an absolute miracle if we get top 4 but any European spot would do it for me. Let's just take this one game at a time and not be pissed if we lose a few games along the way till summer.

For saying nothing. Wearing a T shirt or badge or holding a placard supporting Palestine Action is a criminal offence under the terrorism Act. .

Glad to see you support the decision of Kier Starmer and his Labour government to proscribe the group
