Failure to act on or even acknowledge the anti semitism rife within the Labour Party as the leader of said party shows his views on the matter.

Everything is antimitism now, just criticising isreal and telling the truth. It is a bit scary how no one is allowed to say anything.

"Im very fortunate, in terms of the goalkeepers, Jorgensen and Sanchez are world class with the ball at their feet, which absolutely suits the way i want to play.

Liam Rosenior . Jan 9th 2026.

Translation: "I have never seen Jorgensen play"

Please, please Liam, don't start with the Maresca bullsh*t bo**ocks. It won't end well.

I much prefer the "Everyone gets a clean slate" comment. The manager is being supportive of his new players but there is also underlying inference that he knows you're sh*t but is still wiping the slate clean.

It’s quite the opposite, you can say whatever you want these days without any repercussions. You only have to take a look at some of the disgusting things chanted at the free Palestine rallies without anyone blinking an eye.

I feel like even though we were building from the back it felt a lot less likely that we would lose the ball, could just be because it was a championship side but it looked like there was more proximity between the players

I loved his interviews through out the week, he is articulate and speaks so well. The football was so, so much better than the sh*te Maresca served up.

I am excited to see more. I don’t expect us to get a result against Arsenal, not many teams can and it’s his second game in charge.

It’s so nice to see us playing more like a football team rather than a bunch of robots. Bring it on Arsenal, hopefully it will be an entertaining game!

You can live in Israel and literally complain all day long about the israeli government or even claim genocide (which i don't agree with), and you won't get arrested, the israeli left is constantly attacking their president and nothing happens to them. This issue is really big and complex and has many nuances.

Anyway, let's get back to the topic in hand: welcome Liam and all the luck in the world!

That's what playing two proper midfielders does. Hato inverted higher up but also looked really good for the first time. Some of his touches were top, especially under pressure. More of the same please. Let Enzo compete as a 10 and live or die by his performances there.

The box midfielder with Santos/Caicedo looks solid.

I love how even non football fans can understand the rudimentary principal of closing gaps in midfield except the bald fraud previously at our disposal. Even Poch couldn’t f**king grasp it.

Hopefully Rosenior keeps it up.

He got a potential banana skin out of the way today and we coped with Charlton well. Now hopefully we can go into the Arsenal game with some renewed energy. We will definitely be underdogs but hopefully we can give them a real test.

It was exactly the same. The first half it was the usual zero cutting edge and playing it slowly out to the wingers and hoping they do something. It's too soon for him to have any real impact on how we play.

One game at a time. Great result today, bigger tests ahead. Actually pretty tough Jan with the fixture congestion, but hopefully he’ll learn a lot about his squad.

He speaks well. I’m curious how many of his own ideas he’ll bring to the club.

Love him from the way he has spoken and conducted himself so far. Seems like a man with a plan, just hope he is backed enough to execute it. Come in, made himself likeable by showing respect to the club, its supporters and history.

Knows exactly what the standards are at CFC and is making that clear.

Really want it to work out with him.

He never was really antisemitic though was he.. I think he was opposed to the genoside, which is fair enough

When you believe in the dissolution of the world's only Jewish state, it might a bit of a clue, when you openly invite an organisation like Hamas and Hezbollah to parliment (despite there very obvious stated aim for being in existence, Should we quote narshralla, the dearly departed leader of Hezboulla who asked allah to bring all the jews to Israel so he can kill them all in one place? ) that might be a clue.

Or we could look at his quotes around UK jewry not really getting "English Irony"

By the way, during all of this, there was no October 7th and there was not even the suggestion of a genocide, (and there still is no genocide by any legal mesure) so yes when you single out one population for constant criticism, it might be because you have a bit of an agenda there (like being on the pay role of Iranian state TV)

Any way, I generally stick to the football sections of this forum to avoid this kind of garbage.
