February 11Feb 11 Disgraceful result last night? bottling a two goal lead at home, especially against these c**ts.But have to say, it's been a long time since I enjoyed watching us move the ball so fast and with purpose. Impressive, given how little time he had between matches since arrival. That Rosenior fellow might be onto something.

Colwill will need a year to get back to his best once he returns and Cucurella may be out for an extended period with a hamstring injury. When ownership basically told Maresca to "figure it out" and then came out with the internal solutions bo**ocks after Colwill's injury, I knew the season was finished then and there.

I was f**king raging at the result, but afterwards looking back its easily the most I've enjoyed watching us play in what feels like years. The first half especially was superb, players looked like they were thoroughly enjoying it, 1st move was almost always to move the ball forward, midfielders releasing attackers rather than going backwards, no playing tedious risk free nonsense.2 garbage defensive f**k ups ruined it, but man we looked so good on the ball.

Both that you don't rate Rosenior as a manager for this level, or rather the level we want our club to be at, and also believing yesterday debacle was not him fault. He set the team up well, we played well and should have had more than 2 before the defense imploded. Is not his fault Caicedo made a stupid tackle, nor his fault Sanchez, the back line and Caicedo all messed up lIke drunk spiders grabbing at the one tied up fly.Nor Is it on him for leaving Palmer on to chase a winner only for him to mess up a sitter. Imagine how much grief Delap or Garnacho would have got from the forum for that miss, or the pages we would have from @GarnachoCheese had neto done so?You should all consider yourself lucky I haven’t mentioned Neto’s last minute free kick yet.

February 12Feb 12 Majority of the players seem to be a lot more positive minded at the very least with Rosenior.Palmers post match Leeds comments, alongside being the most articulated he’s ever been, were actually positive and gave some hope to where he sees himself/the team going forward. We’ve moved the ball faster and looked a lot better on the whole. As has been said, that first hour was actually enjoyable, a good watch, not a chore. You can’t blame Rosenior for Caicedo having an absolute brain fart (although they’re becoming worryingly common). You can’t blame Rosenior for the absolute pitiful error after error after error leading to the second. You can’t blame Rosenior for Palmer missing a shot he’s probably been tapping in since he was knee high to a grasshopper with his eyes closed. He set the team up right with the right formation, the right personnel and the right approach. We dominated. It only went to sh*t when, what’s glaringly obvious to everyone by now, the orders from above came in. Hato wasn’t worse than Cucu but also doesn’t offer that unpredictable madness going forward that Cucu does that seems to unsettle defenders. Neto coming on for Estevao was unforgivable and totally destroyed our attacking impetus and control.

Kinda feel that was a bullet dodged. I may well be wrong, but I'm sure if he had been performing like he has for Spurs over here, he'd be below Garnacho and Gittens on the pecking order.

Genuinely was unplayable against City the other week.
February 12Feb 12 I don't get the criticism of his in game management. Hato for Cucu was understandable, given his injury, notwithstanding some seemingly believing it was pre planned. Neto for Estavao looked OK to me at the time. 2 0 up and cruising.

I'm tired of these subs to "protect" players, I'm sick of Minutes FC. Play to win the game you're playing, nobody should be thinking about the next game unless it's a final.Weak defensive lines require additional protection, and in my view this squad is simply not equipped to play fluid, expansive attacking football. Trying to do so will come at a cost.
February 13Feb 13 I had my doubts about this appointment and I know a lot will hold the ‘BlueCo Yes Man’ moniker against him but he did everything we as fans want a manager to do tonight.Gave debuts, and not just throw away minutes in Jesse Derry’s case to our most promising youngsters.Took the FA Cup seriously, even against lesser competition, with a rotated but strong attacking minded lineup.Seems to be implementing a much quicker, attack focused brand of football, which Andrey Santos is absolutely instrumental to and thriving with. He’s even for the first time in 6 months managed to make Pedro Neto look like a footballer! The man may very well be a miracle worker.
February 14Feb 14 Author Football is certainly more entertaining and he is given Santos the role he deserves and we need from him. Let's see how we do against the teams in the league after Burnley as this is our next 6 PL games:Arsenal (A)Aston Villa (A)Newcastle (H)Everton (A)Man City (H)Man United (H)No Wolves, West Hams or Spurs in that lot, good teams (and bogey away side everton)

February 18Feb 18 SOMEONE WITH A BIT OF SENSE“I will not be surprised” – Emmanuel Petit answers Chelsea question with interesting Liam Rosenior claimChelsea haven’t even challenged for the title since they last won it in 2017 under Antonio Conte, and Rosenior will hope he can be the man to change that. However, former Blue Petit wasn’t sure when asked if he felt the Englishman could win the title with Chelsea.“Look at Manchester United, look at Spurs, look at Chelsea, all those clubs,” he said as quoted on X.com.“They’ve been changing players and managers so many times. And then all of a sudden you want them to win the title?Petit makes a good point in terms of needing stability to be able to compete and win the league, and he wasn’t sure Rosenior would even manager in ten months time.“And you’re asking me if Liam Rosenior is capable of winning the title with Chelsea? I’m not sure if he’s going to be the manager in 10 months,” he added.“If he has three or four bad results in a row, I will not be surprised if the board sacks him.”

So he tweeted it? Or was interviewed? A bit of a nothing comment and I'm sure most people agree that Rosenior is less likely to win the league in 10 months than be sacked. That being said, it's impossible to win the league in 10 months - that would only take us to next December.Silly clickbait title - nothing interesting in Petit's claim.

Absolutely. But it is really not up to Rosenior.Assessing what we need as a team is not that hard. Finding players and signing players who fit this criteria while staying with blue co strategy is the hard part. Edited February 19Feb 19 by Bob stark

He has answered the initial questions, put some credit in the bank ( boy did he need it) and the improved speed of our game is evident, but does it scale. Can he make us hard to play against, put a bit of a nasty streak in to the team. I'm trying to ignore the fact that I basically want ever manager to be 2005 Jose.. The gap between us and top 2 is much bigger then the 3 places in the table suggests. I have no confidence in our ability to see a tight game out, not his fault but it is on him to fix it. If he goes all Claudio in the weeks to come and put's us in a damage limitation posture it will say a lot
