I've noticed LR often says about a player who is either high profile, on form or both, typically Jaoa Pedro Reece James & Estevao.....

"He can improve or get better.." ( if he listens to me, learns from me)

Very clever but you've been sussed simply trying to gain some personal praise for developing one of our class players. I'm not buying it.

Think you're looking into things too deeply. As @GarnachoCheese says above, just be happy that unlike Spurs, we have upgraded our coach.

Comparing LR to Maresca isn't necessarily a good thing, he may or may not be better than Maresca but sadly he's not good enough to manage Chelsea or any other similarly placed Premier League team.

If he was available during 2026 or 2027 do you think a queue would be forming with a top teams representative in it? Nope.

And comparing him and our situation to Spurs and Tudor is setting the bar at an all time low- in the basement if you will.

Too many people made their minds up on Rosenior because of their dislike of the ownership and before looking at his history in management and now refuse to acknowledge the benefits we're seeing.

Oh well, their loss.

You may well be right regarding the ownership, I don’t think it’s a hatred of them more a dislike at the way things are being run and a worry that with LR being ‘their man’ then it will be more of the same in terms of transfer strategy and interfering in team matters.

None of this is LR ‘s fault though he just has to get on with his job as the front man. It’s the knowing that other managers wouldn’t take the job as it stands and work under these conditions that has a lot of us worried. We’re all hoping LR can make it work though.

I think it’s a hatred and I don’t blame them, I hate them too. They’re a cancer to the club and are bleeding us dry.

Having said that, LR has to be judged on his own merits. So far so good and having followed him since his derby days I think it’s only going to get better.

I hope your right and things get much better, it was so bad under Maresca I stopped going and yes he should be judged on his own merits however this is the real problem with the current set up. If he has no input in signings or the final say in team selection is it fair to judge?

Maresca speaking out about this is about the best thing he did at the club which ultimately cost him his job, not the sh*t football he was serving up.

Or maybe Maresca was just full of sh*t, he new the fans and the players weren’t buying his bore fest brand of football and started looking for excuses and people to blame.

I can’t imagine the SD told him to make sure we pass it 200 times before we cross the half way line.

Unless things change, which i doubt, any manager that comes in will be instructed to rotate.

If that's the case, how about our sporting directors hold up their end of the bargain and adequately strengthen the squad so we don't see such a disparity between starting XI players and our bench options.

Tosin, Badiashile, Delap and Guiu are borderline bottom tier Premier League/Championship quality, and our wingers excluding Estevao wouldn't look out of place at Burnley.

I see the improvements of the players under LR. A good manager can improve their players and play a system that suits them. He’s come in and abandoned Maresca’s ridiculous inverted nonsense and got players that barely resembled footballers firing again.

I hate being right. Abysmal management, abysmal defensive structure

Oh he has 67% win record whoop de doo

Can't beat dogsh*t Arse, masterminded our biggest loss to PSG

Just f**k off and take Jorgensen with you

You LOVE thinking you're right. Bore Off.

Really not sure what was going through his head to drop Sanchez.

Have you not watched our games? Sanchez makes exactly the same mistakes only more often.

We have two keepers - neither of them are any good. That's not down to LR - that's down to BlueCo. Same when you look at both benches tonight. PSG able to bring on top quality - we have the likes of Delap and Garnacho FFS.

The problem is in the mistakes they are making - playing it out from the back. Maresca tried it and realised it didn't work and we started going long. That';s how we beat them in the pre-seaosn friendly tournament. Now we're back to square one again because the new manager thinks he can somehow make it work.
