Two times he has had to step in extremely difficult circumstances. I said in the match thread today that his TV interviews are a breath of fresh air compared to Maresca and the P.E. teacher. He keeps it simple. No posturing, no bullsh*t, no verbal diarrhea.

Our managers since Tuchel have divided the support. Alonso will have the vast majority of the support right behind his appointment and will clearly have insisted on a level of control he is comfortable with.
May 16May 16 Best appointment since Tuchel, let’s hope the board actually made concessions and gave him more control

May 16May 16 Excited by this. Skeptical given the owners and board, but I'm so desperate to be in love with this club again.

The players clearly like him and he's doing a decent job for someone who is massively under qualified
May 16May 16 I'm so suspicious of the Clearlake mob that I'm thinking they may have lied to him.Could it be that they've finally realized that what they're doing won't work?

May 16May 16 We won the f**k all cup today. At least Alonso knows what he has to do and it wont be pretty. Lots announcing hes going to sign. Liverpool fans in meltdown, perhaps we can relegate spurs for some end of season joy.
