Not only he proved with Como that he is a very good manager, but he is the type of man that will command any locker room in world football because of his aura. These type of managers are rare in football nowadays. For me personally the most charismatic still remains Klopp, but Fabregas is not far behind. He is incredibly charismatic and has that special feeling about him. The complete opposite of Rosenior or Arteta who look and sound like fools. Can you imagine a world where we win the league with Fabregas before arsenal win the league with Arteta. That would be something to dream of. He has less than two years experience and that's in a very ropey league.

The problem we have now is I was actually looking forward to seeing the team LR was gonna put out against Leeds… Derry etc who knows. Now I feel macfarlane picks the usual suspects under orders.
April 24Apr 24 Im just hoping they get someone whos not hell bent on doing 300 passes at the back before trying to move forward. Slow transitional play is fecking brutal to watch all the time.
April 24Apr 24 Ive reduced my aspirations i would like a coach that has some sensible proportion of influence over team matters. Im happy with an experienced coach or an inexperienced coach. Defensive/negative football , Rock and Roll football, a bin dipper or even a Spuds related fella, just not a yes man/ blue co biatch. In any case if we get another yes man it will surely reflect on the ridiculous SDs and at some point they must surely please God be held to account.Eghbali and the other shareholders cannot possibly keep pouring their money into this joke and stand by whilst these idiot SDs carry on making errors. The entire football community in the UK can see this.Bring in a disrupter, Simeone is such a person. cmon Eghbali ! You know it makes sense! Edited April 24Apr 24 by OTL

I now tend to lean more to the side of not wanting players that we revered coming in and then failing because this crap ownership and their model cannot provide the ammunition and tools to succeed. I would rather Lampard, Terry, Fabregas, even Ashley Cole now he is starting on the path, to steer a clear path away from us, until there has been some fundamental restructuring taking place within our hierarchy and a complete reset of strategy and overall objectives.

They were severely bent out of shape when we become the most successful club in London- be good for Premiership to break City/ Liverpool monopoly. Can’t stand the twats and their intellectual, loner fans support however they’ve suffered enough…

They feel like they are forcing things in order to try to please others and look smart.Klopp and Fabregas are cool and they are the type of people that light up a room when they come inside. The Mourinho of his first stint here was the same. Not anymore though, I find him bitter and boring now. Diego Simeone is another one that is incredibly charismatic. Ancelotti and Zidane as well and not because of their history as footballers and managers, but these type of people are magnetic and behave in ways that are pleasing and cool.

Can’t stand the twats and their intellectual, loner fans support however they’ve suffered enough…This is the worse take I’ve read in a while.City winning the league has no negative effect on anyone, it’s expected, it’s a given, it’s the norm.Arsenal winning anything would have their, already, holier than thou fanbase catapulted to a whole new stratosphere of insufferable. The amount of ‘bluds’ and ‘fams’ that would be getting thrown around in every interview and the football they’re playing to win it. It would pretty much kill the Premier League.

April 24Apr 24 After much consideration I am resigned to the fact that Callum McFarlane will be given the job permanently at the end of the season.

April 24Apr 24 By installing Callum McFarlane as interim coach until the end of the season suggests Finklesteins view is still alive and kicking. ☹️ Edited April 24Apr 24 by OTL

Fabregas is literally part of the decision process at Como, as confirmed by their ownership/behind the scenes docs. Simeone has his own son playing for him ffs. Just feel any personality like that, would either not come, or be stifled/changed by the sh*tshow here.

Way more following south of the river than Spurs. Not as tribalistic as I once was. Have Arsenal friends ( use that term loosely) who would be made up if they triumphed.Footnote: Boxing Day early 80’s. Went with my best mate and his boss to Norwich v Arsenal. Nice Ford Grenada. It was Terry Neil’s last game before he got the tin tack. Cut a long story, no doubt as a result of excessive fluid intake, Xmas Dinner with stuffing, I farted all the way up there, and all the way back. f**king cold day; case of open the windows and freeze or wear it.Oddly enough was never invited again to go with those two
