20 hours ago20 hr If we put the performances aside and judge the end result, England probably finished higher than I would have placed them at the start of the tournament.

20 hours ago20 hr Entertaining game. Well done England. Bellinghams goal was like something on PlayStation We have to take the next step. What could have been.
20 hours ago20 hr So weird seeing players happy with the Bronze medal, because tomorrow, there will be players pulling off their runners up medal the second it is placed on them 😆

I hate seeing players rip off the runners up medal immediately and sulk around. I was always taught to be magnanimous in defeat. This is the best England have managed since 66 so they should be proud.
20 hours ago20 hr Entertaining. Can’t really take much from it though, when you take away the pressure from the game. Nonetheless, finally a competitive England game that was fun to watch, rather than nervy, frustrating or depressing.

20 hours ago20 hr We are truly blessed to have a player like Jude Bellingham. He is special. The type of player we only see once in our lifetime.
20 hours ago20 hr Imagine an Australian being more optimistic/right about this England team than all you sorry English. This game was a glorified friendly, a real American All-Star game vibe (not a compliment, for non-Americans). No defending to speak of. Mbappe laughing and joking with Tuchel in the tunnel at HT. Gusto starting. There are only two things that should be gleaned from this game; Kane's England days are finished, and Gusto's footballing days should be finished if he can't even perform in this televised open training session.5 minutes ago, just said:Rice looks absolutely shattered.Gabriel injured, Saliba injured, Hincapie injured, Rice knackered, Saka on the way to the knackery, Madueke starting. Arsenal won't make the CL next season.

Too often he is a passenger.

Or do England consider going with more of a false 9?

12 hours ago12 hr Saka who wasn’t fit enough to play a semi final can now play a full 90 mere days later when the pressure is off. He is the biggest bottle job this country has seen, relying on Arsenal players cost us massively this tournament
11 hours ago11 hr Last night should be the final time we see Tuchel as Manager. We shipped 4 goals last night and France should have, for better finishing from Olise, won the game. Im pretty much done with international football now. I just dont care about it. Certainly not with tuchel leading the national team.

9 hours ago9 hr The third place is flattering though we do not normally win this as we normally give the wider squad a chance.I think yesterday was TT's attempt to regain some credibility and he let something slip, in the last match he played Rogers rather than Saka as he had a feeling about Rogers, so Saka was actually available against Argentina. He could have brought him on along with Rashford and Watkins as soon as we started retreating. No excuses for me.However, nice to beat France with some decent goals and Bellingham's was the pick.
