So weird seeing players happy with the Bronze medal, because tomorrow, there will be players pulling off their runners up medal the second it is placed on them 😆

As it should be.

I hate seeing players rip off the runners up medal immediately and sulk around. I was always taught to be magnanimous in defeat.

This is the best England have managed since 66 so they should be proud.

Entertaining. Can’t really take much from it though, when you take away the pressure from the game. Nonetheless, finally a competitive England game that was fun to watch, rather than nervy, frustrating or depressing.

I agree. I hate seeing players take their medal off, it's childish.

Imagine an Australian being more optimistic/right about this England team than all you sorry English.

This game was a glorified friendly, a real American All-Star game vibe (not a compliment, for non-Americans). No defending to speak of. Mbappe laughing and joking with Tuchel in the tunnel at HT. Gusto starting.

There are only two things that should be gleaned from this game; Kane's England days are finished, and Gusto's footballing days should be finished if he can't even perform in this televised open training session.

Rice looks absolutely shattered.

Gabriel injured, Saliba injured, Hincapie injured, Rice knackered, Saka on the way to the knackery, Madueke starting.

Arsenal won't make the CL next season.

I don't mind having Kane for another tournament, but not starting. Too often he is a passenger.

Back in 2023, I had him down as the best player in the world on form, then he fell off. It must be a club issue, because he looks great for England.

Can we convince Real Madrid to swap him for Enzo? ;)

I suppose the question is who would replace him as a starter? Toney is also on the older side, and Watkins has not convinced for England. Or do England consider going with more of a false 9?

Perhaps Nicholas Jackson can find a British ancestor that entitles him to a UK passport 🤔

Last night should be the final time we see Tuchel as Manager. We shipped 4 goals last night and France should have, for better finishing from Olise, won the game.

Im pretty much done with international football now. I just dont care about it. Certainly not with tuchel leading the national team.

Or perhaps in May 1940!😀

One good thing to be said for the Vichy government, the only good thing, is that they banned rugby league.

Entertaining game. Well done England. Bellinghams goal was like something on PlayStation

We have to take the next step. What could have been.

What could have been had they played unserious oppo in a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition game -v- Argentina.

Saka who wasn’t fit enough to play a semi final can now play a full 90 mere days later when the pressure is off. He is the biggest bottle job this country has seen, relying on Arsenal players cost us massively this tournament

Apparently tuchel has said he put rogers on rather thanks saka because he had a feeling he would do something special, yes, a feeling....

Doesn't really explain why he didnt even sub him on at all.

Also he took Toney who was absolutely abysmal and totally of the pace, because his mate manages him, he didn't even see him play.

"I had fantastic feedback from his club coach [Matthias Jaissle], who was my player [when Tuchel coached Stuttgart's youth team], and I have a close connection with him, always fantastic feedback about his role there, about his ability, his fitness."

f**king unbelievable.

Yeah, stealing all assets and banning players is hilarious mate.....

The third place is flattering though we do not normally win this as we normally give the wider squad a chance.

I think yesterday was TT's attempt to regain some credibility and he let something slip, in the last match he played Rogers rather than Saka as he had a feeling about Rogers, so Saka was actually available against Argentina. He could have brought him on along with Rashford and Watkins as soon as we started retreating.

No excuses for me.

However, nice to beat France with some decent goals and Bellingham's was the pick.
