June 28Jun 28 Another objectively incorrect decision by VAR to rob Colombia of the win. I suppose this is what justice looks like in Florida. May the President swim in underage trim forever. He is dancing, dancing. He says that he will never die.

June 28Jun 28 Another record for Messi, just scored from a free kick. That’s a goal in seven consecutive World Cup games - a new record. 123 goals for Argentina - what a career.
June 28Jun 28 After last night's results, Iran are going home despite not losing a game. Bit of a shame as I was quite enjoying the idea of the organisational chaos their qualification might create ...
June 28Jun 28 BBC SportScotland: Steve Clarke resigns after World Cup exitSteve Clarke resigns as Scotland head coach following the nation's group exit from the World Cup.

The SFA's contract extension before the cup even started was insanity. The SFA is more responsible than anyone for Scotland's plight.
June 28Jun 28 Rashford better than Gordon at left wing though who do we bring on when he fades, perhaps Gordon. Not sure if starting Saka was better than Madueke .......I wondered if Kane would score later after that shot he took straight to the keeper, good to see him score with a goal in play.Bellingham was important maybe a lucky goal on the corner as the ball fell kindly yet provided a good cross for Kane.Pickford rarely tested, sometimes his concentration wanders we might get caught out later with him off his line.Anderson looks decent did not seem to miss Rice, Rogers did not shine perhaps holding while Bellingham went forward.Eze, not sure why he is being played, I see him as an attacking mid or forward and it looks like we are using him as a holding midfielder.Good to see he recovered from his body check versus Ghana and wonder if Kane taking out the defender was Captain's business, you mess with us we will with you.I like O'Reillly who seems to work hard and is decent in the air and Djed Spense is becoming Mr.versatile, he is one I think is better than I expected. At HT wondered if Watkins would come on for a 442 after 15 mins yet we scored.........

June 28Jun 28 Agree with the comments on here about England and the "job done" attitude of pundits etc. No wonder some of the more exciting football comes from the "smaller" nations. I often think that more English players might benefit by playing abroad to get different experiences of different styles of football. Most of the national teams have players who play all over Europe/the world. We have 3.

June 28Jun 28 The 2026 FIFA World Cup halftime show on July 19, 2026. Shakira, Madonna, and BTS will headline the first halftime performance ever staged at a World Cup final. Half time is scheduled to be 25 minutes - but they might over run a bit like they do in the Hydration breaks. Advertising dollars will be at a record HIGH. Just a reminder: Capitalism doesn't care about you or your game or your club or your country.

June 28Jun 28 So we finally arrive at the knock out stage where 32 of the worlds finest footballing nations battle it outfirst up....South Africa v Canada. 😂🤣😂😂😂🤣😂Meanwhile that footballing super power USA have just written the Bosnians team talk for them with a media comment dissing them. I do hope than doesnt come back to haunt them.😐The media backlash erupted after the journalist remarked she "doesn't know one thing about Bosnia" and admitted she could not point it out on a map. June 28Jun 28 Best thing to happen at this World Cup is some shirter throwing their phone during a Mexican wave just now. Suitable punishment for the crime.
June 28Jun 28 I'm hoping the Stamford Bridge faithful adopt the pre Kick off countdown next season. It's fab and not at all childish
