July 10, 201511 yr After the good reviews about the new Terminator movie I'm eager to see this and yes I share the sentiments of others that the first two were magnificent when James Cameron was directing the films but they lost their spark after that. Looking forward to seeing it soon.
July 11, 201511 yr Really enjoyed it. Surpassed expectations and it was a really solid effort. Arnold is such a lad. Love him haha
July 11, 201511 yr The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened Filmmaker Jon Schnepp made this via kickstarter, it's about the unproduced Superman film titled 'Superman Lives' that would have starred Nicolas Cage as Clark Kent/Superman and directed by Tim Burton. The documentary is fantastic and if you know anything about this project you'll know that it was widely hated by the fans but having watched the documentary I honestly think the film would have been good. Would rate the documentary 9/10.
July 12, 201511 yr Ted 2, same as Ted 1 basically. If you liked the nastiness, smut and daftness of the first then you`ll like the 2nd one. I personally loved it.
July 12, 201511 yr Mad Max - great looking movie 8/10 Terminator - Arnold at his best 7/10 (huge T fan) Gone Girl - interesting story 8/10

July 12, 201511 yr If, like me, you were left completely baffled by the hacky nonsense of the Terminator Genisys plot then this might be of help:
July 12, 201511 yr Minions - 6/10. Yes, I realise that I'm a 25-year-old single male and I shouldn't be watching kids movies such as this but I loved the Despicable Me films. I also adore Minions. I never thought that I could have too much of Minions but I did during this film. It was alright but I do prefer Despicable Me!
July 15, 201511 yr SPY. Kind of avoided it when it was released but watched on the droid box last night. I thought it was hilarious tbh, Jason Statham had me doubled over at times…never thought he had that kind of comedy in him but I was really surprised. I thought it was significantly funnier than Ted 2 (that I also watched).

July 15, 201511 yr You really should mate. I convinced myself it was going to be rubbish so avoided it at all costs. Think the last two films I saw with that Mellissa McCarthy put me off (The Heat & Tammy) but it was actually enjoyable and funny. I didn't like Miranda in it though, can't take to her at all.
July 15, 201511 yr I enjoyed Spy too. A very funny satire of the James Bond/Jason Bourne thing, which makes it better than both in my books.
July 15, 201511 yr I watched the Falling last night. Very mixed - some bits were laughable (not in a good way) but other bits were ok. Wouldn't recommend it though.
July 15, 201511 yr Amy. Absolutely heartbreaking and makes you just want to protect her from the w**kers who got her on to drugs and pushed her until she dropped. Her Dad is a absolutely despicable person. I'd recommend it highly. Edited July 15, 201511 yr by TheFunkeyGibbon
July 15, 201511 yr Not released yet but I saw the trailer for Suicide Squad and Jared Leto as the joker seems very interesting. Obviously he's facing a lot of negativity from people who feel he can't match up to Ledger's portrayal of the joker. but I think from the trailer he seems very capable and genuinely creepy.

Obviously he's facing a lot of negativity from people who feel he can't match up to Ledger's portrayal of the joker. but I think from the trailer he seems very capable and genuinely creepy. It's not so much to do with Ledger's Joker but the fact that the look of The Joker in Suicide Squad goes completely against 75 years of the characters history. The tattoos just don't make sense on the traditional Joker... Their just against odds with what he represents really. Considering how faithful Synder is with source material and that Superman and Batman look like their as close to the comics as we've ever been for David Ayer to seemingly be non traditionalist with a key character within the same DC universe is just odd. Obviously we still don't know the full details on Leto's Joker but there is a lot of skepticism about the apparent direction.

I'll have the tissues at the ready!
July 17, 201511 yr Ant Man - Another not bad superhero/comic book movie. I was expecting better considering the talent involved (it was written by Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, although Wright pulled out of directing due to creative differences with Marvel, and I can sort of see why). It does have some quite funny moments, however I had already seen most of them in the trailer.

I used to love that they were making comic book films but I feel like they are slowing killing them for me. I feel like literally the only person on the planet who thought Eric Bana played the best Bruce Banner. I was extremely disappointed by the Suicide Squad trailer, don't think I will waste my time. Guess I'll stick to my civil war & world war hulk comics!
