According to transfermarkt, he scored a total of 8 against us in all competitions, including one when he came back on the field from inside our own goal and wasn't given offside, and one that bounced off his face about which he knew nothing.  Not what I would call am impressive scoring record.

6 legitimate goals at most - little scrote was nearly always offside, so I can't swear to the legitimacy of those, either.

I can deny it.  I can't see how he would fit into the style of football we play, nor how he would do against the sort of packed defences we often come up against.

Every striker has problems playing against packed defences. Not sure how small and quick Chicharito would fare worse in that respect than big guys like Costa or Lukaku.

As for fitting into our style of football, didn't we play without a striker on a few occasions with Hazard, Pedro and Willian upfront? In some cases we may not need a big centre forward but rather go small. He's a good player, capable of popping up with a goal on a regular basis, a real poacher.

I realize you don't like him, but I'm only looking at what he can bring to the team.

Where did I say it was an argument, I was agreeing with you. I was just saying we always have had a certain player that seemingly always scored against us. Louis Saha especially pissed me off, would be injured for months, then be sh*t for a few weeks then score a double against us and tear us apart. The little sod.

Saha was actually a good player, injuries ruined his career.

I mentioned Chicharito as a potential transfer target not because he scored plenty of goals against us in the past but rather because I think he could be a useful squad player and I don't see anything wrong with the idea.

Totally agree. Chicharito is an amazing goalscorer. One thing is guaranteed, he will get goals no matter what, and that is the kind of players that can turn a 1-1 into 2-1 no matter how you score.

Remember the DD goal which literally won us the league at OT, where he was about a metre off side. Well, so much for not counting off side goals.

Half the membership is always complaining how other teams always get the rub of the green, but we never do. So that prick's doubtful goals would never count for us.
