July 3, 20179 yr Oh dear, two days into the window and we haven't spent £500 million on some player or other, so someone brings up the Little Prick. FFS, even in his prime he was not good enough for us.

According to transfermarkt, he scored a total of 8 against us in all competitions, including one when he came back on the field from inside our own goal and wasn't given offside, and one that bounced off his face about which he knew nothing. Not what I would call am impressive scoring record. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/chicharito/bilanzdetails/spieler/50935/gegner_id/631

July 3, 20179 yr 6 legitimate goals at most - little scrote was nearly always offside, so I can't swear to the legitimacy of those, either.

July 3, 20179 yr It's obvious you don't like him, but you can't deny he would very useful for us. Even as a 3rd striker.
July 3, 20179 yr I have to be honest, I wouldn't want him here simply because I can't stand the prick

Every striker has problems playing against packed defences. Not sure how small and quick Chicharito would fare worse in that respect than big guys like Costa or Lukaku. As for fitting into our style of football, didn't we play without a striker on a few occasions with Hazard, Pedro and Willian upfront? In some cases we may not need a big centre forward but rather go small. He's a good player, capable of popping up with a goal on a regular basis, a real poacher. I realize you don't like him, but I'm only looking at what he can bring to the team.

July 3, 20179 yr OK - as someone else said, it's all opinions, anyway, but I have a bit more ambition for this Chelsea team than him.

July 3, 20179 yr Where did I say it was an argument, I was agreeing with you. I was just saying we always have had a certain player that seemingly always scored against us. Louis Saha especially pissed me off, would be injured for months, then be sh*t for a few weeks then score a double against us and tear us apart. The little sod. Edited July 3, 20179 yr by dkw
July 3, 20179 yr Saha was actually a good player, injuries ruined his career. I mentioned Chicharito as a potential transfer target not because he scored plenty of goals against us in the past but rather because I think he could be a useful squad player and I don't see anything wrong with the idea.

Totally agree. Chicharito is an amazing goalscorer. One thing is guaranteed, he will get goals no matter what, and that is the kind of players that can turn a 1-1 into 2-1 no matter how you score. Remember the DD goal which literally won us the league at OT, where he was about a metre off side. Well, so much for not counting off side goals.

So that prick's doubtful goals would never count for us. Plus I don't want anybody at our club who seriously calls himself Little Pea. Perhaps cute when you're 2 years old, but a grown man, come on! Has someone mentioned yet he's a prick?
July 3, 20179 yr Rumours seem to be all we are doing, someone mentioned the only deal we'd celebrate on or around 1st july would be Nike and big Willy, frankly i'm depressingly concerned at our lack of activity, and don't anyone dare say "its early in the Window", we were all fed the syrupy spoon of transfer bollocks about big signings imminent.......well we're waiting to have our pants pulled for all our apparent targets, Rudiger, Bonnucci ,Sandro ,Lukaku??????
