Costa / Batshuayi - but this 2 will be leaving 100%.

And we have Kenedy, RLC, Aina, Musonda, players that 100% will go out on loan.

 

So let`s see what we really have if we remove the players that will leave and probably go on loan.

Erm we really dont.

We need a few quality signings that can slot into the first team and maybe a couple good options as back up and thats it. Most the players we have sod so far are fringe, and if we sign Bakayoko, then Matic leaving would be a great idea

Yes we do and i explain it with details.

Oh i dont doubt that, but its pretty hard to compete with the first 3 teams you mentioned in any way in all fairness, they are just huge clubs

Bur the point i made was that if we sign good players that can slot straight into the first team, that means the player we had there previously will be on the bench and a good back. A good example being us signing Sandro.. If we do, then we got a great back up in Alonso.

Agree on that, tho i have hopes for Sandro i think now Juve won`t let him leave.

Hard to imagine Juventus will let their left and right back leave in just 1 window.

Very hard.

Also i think United and City underperformed, while Totheman was above their level and in the season they will be level below. Liverpool are interesting, but i think with the CL they won`t be a factor in the PL again.

Yet again they give big money for average players, thinking they can get world class, but they are not.

United and City will be tons better in the new season, so if we want to win the title again, we need to strengthen our team big time. We lack qualities in imporant positions, also we need alternative, more rotation and depth.

Juventuz will survive, they had no problems letting Pogba and Pirlo go last season with Marchisio and Khedira being injury prone and they still survive. Allegri seems to be able to cope with it

This is crazy. why do we need 26 players when we can only register 25? Also to register a 25 man squad, 8 need to be homegrown, so we will most probably have a squad of around 20. 

I doubt Batshuayi will go, but if matic and costa leave, that leaves us with 16 (4hg), We are stronger linked with rudiger, bakayoko, Sandro, and Lukaku, which leaves us with 20 (5hg). 

Maybe you could argue we need another 1 or 2 beyond that, (we couldn't actually sign more than 2 more foreign players anyway),  but not all of the young players will go out on loan, some will be kept to supplement the squad. 

You actually sound like you are talking about your career mode on fifa. Even then I would say it would be a stretch to bring in 12 first team players in one summer. 

 

This is what I think we need:

3 Goalkeepers : Courtois, Caballero and Eduardo

5-6 CBs : Luiz, Azpilicueta, Rudiger or VVD, Christensen, Cahill, "Alonso"

4 Wingbacks : Sandro, Alonso, Moses, (Conti, Danilo or Alves), "Azpilicueta"

4 CMs : Kante, Bakayoko, Fabregas, (Dembele, Verratti or Fabinho), Chalobah

4 Wide forwards / Strikers : Hazard, Sanchez, Pedro, Belotti, "Dembele"

Thats 8 new players + Christensen, if we sell Matic, Willian, Costa, Batshuayi and Zouma. We could easily switch between 3-5-2/3-4-3 and survive a few injuries as well.

How exactly we will keep Michy Batshuai, when he was a death reserve ? No way in hell he will accept to stay on the bench 1 more season. He will be loaned out or sold.

Costa and Matic are 100% gone. There will be other players thats want to go.

RLC will be loaned. Chalobah is not happy, he probably be loaned. Same goes for Aina and Kenedy. Doubt that they will sit on the bench like this another season.

Only in the winter we sold Ivanovic, Oscar, Mikel, three guys that was usually play parts in our game in the past.

Ake and John Terry also leave us.

We have EXACTLY 15 players, if someone of this 15 players do not decide to leave. And three of this players are GK, 5 of them are CB. So 7 player for 7 poisitions, just Great !!!

So you are saying by signing Lukaku, Rudiger, Bakayoko, we are okay ? Sandro probably won`t come, so we have another big problem.

Who will be backup for Lukaku ? Who will be back of Bakayoko ? Backup for Moses? Backup for Kante? We will start the season with Pedro and Willian in the starting 11? Hazard is injured, who will be backup for this players? Let alone that not Pedro, not Willy are good enough to be in the starting 11.

I said it, just like many expert said it, for every position, you need atleast 2 players, and they need to be good and to be challenged for their spot.

We will be in the CL, so yes we need big squad.

You can compare us to Real, Barcelona, Bayern all you want but that is unrealistic. Not a single team in the prem is able to match them, because they are so superior in their respective leagues. In the prem you don't even make top 4 if you have a season of underperformance.

Also, there is no way the club is getting rid of all those players you mentioned in one window. This is real life, not FIFA. In real life you can't just change half the squad in one window and everything will work right away, getting relations and new players to settle in takes time. Since we are going to compete in multiple competitions and we aim to win them all we don't have that kind of time. And in the Prem there is so much money right now that if a player of, lets say James' calibre keep getting benched, club on the shelf right below us can afford him.

As somebody else already has pointed out the fact that if we sign new players to the first XI, the one they replace probably will become the backup, ergo we improve both quality and depth with less signings. And the fact that you don't even know the rules of registration makes it hard to take you seriously.

Notwithstanding that we need 8HG players for CL. 4 Club trained and 4 Assoc. trained.

Rumours from Glasgow saying that Charly Mousanda is on his way to Celtic as they search for a new No. 10...a £5m fee is being banded about...was hoping he'd get some first team opportunities this season for us but if he goes £5m seems too cheap...I definitely expect there to be a buy back clause inserted in any contract for him too...

yep there surely has to be a buy back clause.

I know it's only 3 days into the transfer window, but very underwhelming so far. We are supposedly tied up 2-3 players of 100M by now, but so far only got a backup GK on free ( nothing against him, not that we fear him.

 

think he will do a decent job). Meanwhile, even Arsenal is closing on a 50M striker/our summer clearance sell has seen us parted with 2 promising players who have showed real potential on cameos. Are we really that desperate for money?  I really think Ake will come back to haunt us. I could see him doing a KDB in a couple of years, let's pray we got a buy back clause on him.

How is Arsenal closing in on a £50m player any different to us closing in on a £65m player, a £35m player and another £35m player? I dont see how you can say ours has been underwhelming but then compare it to Arsenal who have signed the exact same amount of players as us.

I've always wanted him ever since he left Man United, but for some reason we've never been linked with him and aren't now.

The move makes too much sense for us.
