I think he would be great aswell, £35m buy out clause. Not sure we have room for another centre midfielder though.

Dzeko would be a great addition. Would likely be number 1 ST this season. Can't see the move materialising though.

also, no chance Roma let Dzeko, Palmeiri and Naingollan leave in one window.

We're in it already. I'm more worried about being left behind by the scousers and the spuds.

Dzeko is a good player. Certainly played well against us in the Champions League. Doesn't matter where he came from or why. If he's a baller that's all that matters. At the minute he'd be an upgrade on the sh*te with got up top. 

can't see why roma would sell there 1st choice striker in January, unless it was for an astronomical fee, but we will not pay an astronomical fee for a player about to turn 32.  

This is a complete non starter imo.

We used to have Lampard,Ballack,Essien,Mikel etc fighting for the same spots.

Atm we have 2 quality CM, 1 decent CM and 1 subpar CM that's getting used to a new league. We can afford the space imo

I think Dzeko would be about as good a second striker you can hope for. He’s always scored a lot of goals in his career. Doesn't exactly rely on pace, so he should age well, and not hinder Tammy too much either.

Throw in the lwb and I’ll be a happy chap for the first time in a few weeks. 

Personally I’d prefer Alex Telles at lwb but the Roma kid was getting rave reviews before his injury, so may be a gamble worth taking.

He's 31 and still in great nick, and he would suit us with his playing style. Considering we were after Llorente before, Dzeko is a much better player all round.

Lads what on earth is happening at your club, please don't take it as an attack I'm genuinely interested. You spent money in the summer but it all seemed last minute and a bit half arsed. Now you're scratching around after Crouch and Carroll. Where does the problem lie?
