Yeah, wanted to say Cresswell too and maybe Mee as well but it might be a purple patch thing rather than a true display of their level.

Don't think he'd be an upgrade on Pedro or Willian. He'd struggle to get games I'd imagine.

Yes. Still, age is on his side. Could bring the best out of him...who knows.

(If he can stay fit, I actually don't mind Carrol as the lump you throw on at the end. He's quite a good lump-you-throw on at the end, if you know what I mean.

In the minorty here and I know he’s not world class but I like Carroll. When fit, which is a problem, he’ll worry any defence. I hate it when we are playing against him. Injuries def a big problem for him and I don’t know if he’s even had a fit 3 months never mine a full season so No from me.

Yeah. He can be a handful. Just the size and leap on him alone. I admit I share that sentiment. I think there are some not-exactly-great strikers defenders prefer not to see on the pitch. He's one of them.

 

 

I don't buy this Andy Caroll stuff.

Had Morata's chances fallen to a Vardy or Aubameyang we'd have buried Le Arse.

 

Still think Morata can be the man for the hold up play we need if we persist with one up top. 

Don't need to go out and get a horse like Caroll to fill that role IMO. Seems limited.

Vardy would have burried those chances. Still think we should enquire. The man is a smart striker who plays international football. Just needs that chance in a big team. To be fair we shoulda assholed united at the bridge too if he'd finished his chances when we were up 1-0.

He's even in the starting 11 for the Norwich game.

Liverpool planning to use coutinho money for mahrez...would be a cracking signing for them and would really be a shame we missed out. We should be signing both him and vardy imo.

On Alex Telles, Chelsea are interested in signing the player and have scouted him for a couple of seasons. However, Porto don’t want to sell him and a deal being close is not the case currently - Simon Phillips

They already lack balance which they have covered up until now, buying Mahrez will just be overkill. Mane has looked a shadow of his former self because he has been shafted on the left wing to accommodate Salah.  Mane/Sane/Mahrez are all more comfortable on the right.

Hmmm... I really don't think so, personally. They've lost an unsettled Countinho and added a player who is in his prime, knows the league and will be really hyped up to prove his quality at the top level.
