He is a ridiculous talent to be fair but where does he fit in? He is a RWB, and we already have too many options at RB as things stand. The only thing I can think of is James contract is up for renewal next summer at the latest, and they might be thinking of losing the last of the old big contracts. But then you have Josh.

The very fact were are even looking at someone like Conrad Harder sums up the state of our transfer policy ... seven other strikers these SDs have signed and are still on our books : Guiu, Washington, Datro Fofana, Richards, Mheuka, Morgan, Satpaev ... and now we want yet another one ??

Absolutely no plan whatsoever, and zero aptitude for proper squad building.

A lot of these players are considered to possibly feature us for the future. Pretty sure DDF was a misbuy from us. Never settled at any club we sent him. Washington to me is still a work in progress. All others very young and not considered to compete with Delap and Pedro I am sure you can understand that.

If we had one extra striker for this season he'd probably be a versatile attacker like we've been after all window. Jackson didn't want to stay with Pedro and Delap. That tells you why we are where we are now. Arsenal for example last season found themselves in that same situation. Can happen.

I think something will still happen the last days.

You can, and as sun is bright you will criticize the club for everything they do, they certainly didn't plan to be in this situation 2 days before the window closes. If Ekitike injures him today what do you think they'll do? Be relaxed?

Conrad Harder would be the most desperate move we have made in a while. Not good enough, we may as well try somebody already on our books. Make a proper signing or don't bother.
