November 4, 2025Nov 4 Emegha was bought so that Strasbourg didn’t sell to another club. It’s that simple and it’s the model we’ll continue to use going forward.Strasbourg with their smaller running costs can sell to us their better players at a high price (for them) to continue to turn profit, in turn we can (hopefully) make even more profit when we shift said player on.Panichelli looks to be the real deal. Emegha is just more profit to be made at a later date.

November 14, 2025Nov 14 I still feel like Endrick will be a good player. The move to Real Madrid was just too big too soon. He's not the first, look at Odegaard.

Shades of Victor Roque at Barca who was also expected to be the next big import, loaned out to Betis, and now back in Brazil playing for Palmeiras. Not sure a half season loan changes anything for Endrick, he needs a permanent move away. I am not also convinced he will hack it in Europe as a lone “9”, he needs to be paired with a foil.

Italy may beckon.
November 14, 2025Nov 14 In Spain they are saying that Chelsea are preparing a blockbuster 150m euro (£132m) bid to sign striker Julian Alvarez, 25, from Atletico Madrid next summer. Maybe we will try to do a player swap?

November 16, 2025Nov 16 Blues midfielder Enzo Fernández has emerged as the top target for Atlético Madrid, who are ready to pay €80 million (£70.7 million, $93 million) to get a deal done. Such a fee would only be acceptable for Chelsea if the Argentina international agitates for a move. (Source: Fichajes)

He seems happy with us so maybe the door is a long way off, who knows?

England has never really had a top-tier, young South American talent, as Suarez, Aguero, Mascherano, Tevez etc. were arguably already in their prime at 23+ when they came to the league. The league lost out on young Ronaldinho, Adriano, Robinho, Pato and Neymar. Estevao is the first time a hyped-up South American teenager has had their head turned by an English club, as opposed to the traditional route via Portugal or Spain. If it works out, it will be great for the league as a whole.

I just hope people a the club know how best to handle him, dont exploit him etc. He seems to be a sensible lad and have a good family group with him so hopefully they look after him.

November 20, 2025Nov 20 Lot of media reporting we're making a big push to bring Rudiger back to the club for experience in the back line. Part of me thinks its a good idea but the other part of me remembers Rudiger as being incredibly rash and needed another cool head next to him to be able to play his best footballer. We need experience but is it really Rudiger that should bring it?
