Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown:

🗣️" "Chelsea are long-term admirers of Mainoo. So yes, I think if he was allowed to leave Man United in January, they’ll be among the contenders because they see him as a top midfield option. He could come into that team and improve them.

& play where? If he is leaving Utd for game time, we are the last team he should be considering. Personally I don’t see it, and he is another Gittens/Garnacho.

Struggling to think of a single player at the club that he could outpace. Not even sure he could keep up with Maresca. Pedestrian midfielders, like flying 9 stone wing backs, are an extinct breed in this version of the PL. Size, strength and pace. Its 90% of the job description. Mainoo just doesn't tick any of those boxes.

Agreed

We've got too many small midfielders already. Nonsensical to add another one. Give me a Yaya Toure and it's a different debate

Watch endless bullsh*t links regarding this bloke and others over the next three or four weeks when the message here seems quite clear. No overseas loans.

Yes, all six overseas loans done and dusted. Jackson, Anselmino, Paez, Penders, Sarr, Fofana. The only way to achieve another loan is for one of the existing loans to be cancelled.

How does Stewart still have a job lmfao. His two CBs he brought have both been failures and we can’t move them on because they are that sh*t. One of them conveniently gets injured every transfer window.

Badiashile was on less then £10K a week at Monaco as per Capology. BlueCo decided to pay him £90K a week until end of 29/30.

Diasi it was £12K a week at Monaco, and a nice pay rise to £80K a week with a contract to the end of 28/29

It's no wonder we can't shift them ...

It's also an illustration of the real truth behind these data driven approaches and the Chelsea project bullsh*t briefings from the media idiots attached to these clowns.

Chelsea are prepared to offer a swap deal to Real Madrid to try and sign Jude Bellingham, offering up Argentina international Enzo Fernández in exchange. Madrid, however, are not interested in offloading the Englishman. (Source: Defensa Central)

🙄 Just an advert for BlueCo and their fantastic prowess in the player trading market.

🤣🤣🤣. No, its not December 2024, honest. Cue the 'on the payroll' content creators spending the next month spouting how these players are leaving until we get to the end of the window and realisation hits. Up you step Yannick, Younes. Tell us all how these players want to leave to play football. Like Sterling was going to, in order to recover an England spot.

I did see some suggestion that Paez might return to the club in January as his loan in Strasbourg is not working out. Perhaps that would open up a chance for Disasi to go to Roma. Having said that I don't know where it would leave Paez as he would be unlikely to get much playing time with us too.

He'd probably join Deivid Washington on the bench for the development team !

Conor Gallagher is apparently available for transfer in January ... Simeone wants to keep him, but can't offer him a starting spot and accepts that Conor can leave as he wants to play more football in an attempt to make the world cup squad ...

Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United apparently all interested.

Sold! Even if we didn't want him it would be worth it just to stop Man Utd from getting him.

I was thinking a player trade for Fernandez LOL, although we'd probably have to chuck in another £20m to get it over the line !

I'm torn between 'Do it!" And " What's the f**king point".

What a shame. Our squad would have improved massively by adding a petulant, entitled prima donna.

I would bring him back in a heartbeat. Our best run under Poch was with a midfield tandem of Caicedo and Conor.

why have enzo and caicedo when you can have Gallagher and caicedo... surely a swap could be arranged. Ateltico give us our money back and we give them Enzo.

If Spurs can get £35m for Brennan Johnson we might still be able to get £5m for Gittens!

Would have Johnson over Gittens despite me saying give Gittens the season. Loan swap with view to permenant move

Shame theyre not interested in offloading the player to be honest... Wish we were with ours

But under Maresca, Conor would get less game time than he has in Spain. After not playing much for half a season he’d still need lots of rest and careful management of his minutes, ready for some important future occasion that never seems to arrive.

I see there’s talk of City offloading Savinho or Bobb due to signing Semenyo.

Surely Bobb would appeal to us. Young, a winger, out of City’s academy, had a leg fracture and hamstring issues, and not exactly pulling up trees either. I’m sure we would love to cover their expenditure on Semenyo by buying Bobb for 65 million.
