Surely Bobb would appeal to us. Young, a winger, out of City’s academy, had a leg fracture and hamstring issues, and not exactly pulling up trees either. I’m sure we would love to cover their expenditure on Semenyo by buying Bobb for 65 million.

Checks all the boxes for sure. And we need another winger after all. Apparently one can never have enough.

There is also talk of A**x trying to bring Hato back. No doubt for a fraction of the price.

Looks like Bobb really is headed this way as it’s reported that Dortmund are leading the race to sign him. Borussia will pay maybe 35m, Bobb will make little impact and then we’ll give them 70m in the summer.

The World Champions have been linked with Vinicius Jnr to strengthen their forward line in what would be a huge step out from the current recruitment strategy. Not only is a £131m bid being claimed as being made for the Brazilian, but the 202-goal and assist Galactico would also be on the sort of wages that they have been trying to move away from.

In the last couple of days, I’ve kept hearing here in Madrid that Chelsea is in for Vinicius Jr for 160m€. I keep replying that that will never happen. First, he’s 25 years old; second, he would command very high wages, so he doesn’t fit the owners’ model. It’s just either the player’s agent making it known that he’s not happy at Real Madrid, or more PR BS from the CFC-LDN owners.

I, personally, don’t want him, even if it was true, because he’s a very disruptive d**khead.

If he was half as good as he believed he is he’d be going somewhere else in Europe, watch him disappear off to Saudi claiming it’s for ‘the bag’ he deserves.

Would rather play 11 Jamie Gittens than have 1 Vinicius in our lineup.

Yep, we have some decent young Cbs for the future and for now. We need an experienced CB more than anything.

We’ve just figured it out with Liam and Vini.

Get a senior guy as coach. Get a junior guy as player. Problems solved.

I hate defending the daft f**kers in charge, but the CB situation is a very difficult one to sort out. We have one of the best young CBs in the game currently out injured so need a plan to integrate him back on during recovery. For this we need short/medium term cover, so we cant bang away at an £80m mid 20s international . We also have young Josh who we should be looking at getting more and more game time, a future of these 2 settles us for years, with 2 other seniors in the squad (Fofana/Chalobah) we are well set.

So who do they go get, for me a loan or short term signing is ideal, find someone currently getting little game time at the big European clubs and get him in for 18 months, especially if they are experienced at the top level and can help the young players.

Basically we need to go get the next Thiago Silva in, but I dont see anyone out there like that. Rudiger is always brought up but hes insane, not sure we want our young uns learning from him.

Yeah I`d be fearful of putting him into our team right now, hes always ben reckless but seems to have stepped it up several levels.

We want Valentin Barco from Strasbourg. Clearly a Rosenior signing, but it would be a very smart move and make our squad look more balanced.

He’s very versatile, primarily a left back but can also play left winger, central midfield or even attacking midfield. Plus we finally have cover for Cucurella.

I was in full agreement with you up until the Gittens line. I'd take a pair of Vini Jrs' socks for 53 Gittens.

You have got two Fofana's but don't have Anselmino, Sarr, Disasi or Sterling. But your point is valid nonetheless. Firstly nobody in Europe has any money and who would buy half of these anyway.

I think one of the Fofana's was meant to be Chalobah !

Hearing that Leo Castledine is being sold to Middlesbrough.

One of the few in the loan army that has been having a decent loan this season ... 12 goals and 5 assists for Huddersfield in 1577 minutes of action, playing mostly at central attacking midfield.

I guess we can't be having any career path for him at Chelsea in case a mere Cobham boy shows up Enzo Fernandez again LOL

Maybe not. We do technically still have David Datro Fofana too. He is on loan in Turkey. 2 Fofanas for the price of one?
