Any game recommendation?

Have any of you done the mission where you have to kill the botchling? Its bluming difficult. Them spirit things kill your energy as there's so many of them. Frustrating!

You're right, it's seriously hard. If I keep failing I'll change my answer to turn it into a lubberkin and hope it's easier.

Waiting on Arkham Knight. All the other games around this time are / seem good but that's the real one to look out for.

That's what I'm waiting for.

Nothing else interests me.

Didn't have any problems with the lubberkin.

Escort mission with a few spawning wraiths.

I just can't see me finishing the Witcher. Every mission seems to take me 8-10 times to finish. It's good because it's challenging and you don't play too many games that are difficult. Problem is that if they're too difficult then you lose interest.

I'm spending time doing side missions to build up my character and abilities. Hopefully that will make it easier.

The lubberkin was much easier. Not sure why they made one option a lot harder. I'm still loving it. I'm trying to find the balance between doing enough side missions to make the quests do-able and not doing too many to make them easy. Great fun.

Haven't even been to the Skellige Islands yet. Hope they're interesting.

Hit level 17 tonight. Some dialogue scenes are too long and boring so I've found myself skipping the majority of the talking now.

Just did a quest where you put on a play and you end up watching the thing and it goes on for 10 minutes, maybe more.. Proper boring.

Ready to move onto Skillige soon, ready for a change of scenery and hopefully more chopping, less talking.

Anyone played Elder Scrolls online on the PC? Looking at getting it on the consoles to play with a couple of friends. Just wondering how it is and if it's worth the investment!

Not played it but watch some stuff on IGN where they discussed it. One of them who plays a lot of RPGs and MMOs said it's just a bit boring. After a few hours you're not really doing much beyond fetch quests and the combat is apparently really clunky and awkward.

Looked boring as f**k from the little I saw.

Anyone else getting the new F1 and Golf games?

F1 always good for a career mode and quite excited that this is the first one on next gen so expecting the graphics to be spectacular!

Not a huge fan of golf but always find the career mode on that is worth doing as there's so much to do - and makes a change from me constantly beating my brother at FIFA, get to beat him at Golf instead

From what I've seen of both they look good. Think F1 is out at the end of this week (maybe next) and Golf is out next month sometime.

Realistically I reckon I will probably only get one of the above, and the new batman game.

I've looked at a couple of videos and I get the impression the combat doesn't look that great and it looks quite dull. I've heard some good things from people who've played but they tend to be the Oblivion/Skyrim diehard fans who can't see past that.

Guess I should just wait for reviews.

That's been the general opinion, the environments just aren't interesting and populated enough like the Elder Scrolls single player games are from what I've heard.

Lots of people quickly lots interest which is why they've had to ditch the subscription fee.

There's a lot of reviews available from when it was released on PC, I don't know if many places will re-review it for the consoles.

On avegerage it's scored 7/10 which isn't a terrible score but there's quite a few indifferent ones to make you think twice about committing the amount of playing time needed for a game like this.

Check out the user review scores on there and even on Amazon, it's almost 50/50 split with people either giving it good scores are bad.

Haven't played a golf game since one of the early Tiger Woods PGA tour games but is there really that much to do?  :laugh2:  See ball, hit ball.

Has anyone played Life is Strange? You can get it on Steam. It's done in episodes, they've done 3 of the 5 episodes so far. It's all about choiecs, everything you do can have an affect on the story line.

Can't recommend it enough.
