Any squad numbers yet for the new signings? Don't see anything on the official site.

They didn't come out until the middle of August last year, right before the start of the season I believe. Due to people possibly still coming and going, whatever they wear in the USA probably won't be official until August.

Im pretty sure De Bruyne will be going out on loan next season in Europe.

He's been given no.14 so perhaps he will be in the squad? If he was going to be farmed out on loan surely they wouldn't even bother giving him a number?

wouldn't be at all surprised if he's ready for first team football this year, I know it's the Belgian league but his performances towards the back end of last year told me that we have a very promising stand-in for Lamps

I think it depends on the Oscar/Modric/Schweinsteiger/Moutinho transfers. If we don't get one of them, De Bruyne is the next best thing.

I actually can't see us signing any of them.

I think Modric is nailed on to go to Madrid. Oscar and Scheweinsteiger will stay put and Moutinho will end up at Spuds or Manure.

I wouldn't be too upset about that, I want to see this kid get some playing time for us...

Who says Malouda is staying? I'm pretty sure the club wants to get rid of him but its not that easy.
