Looked class today for Belgium score a good goal and had a great assist .I mean Chelsea have so much talent at their disposal .

oscar can pass just as good as him if not better LOL but he was Brilliant today even played better than Hazard who often has an off day for Belgium

no, de bruyne is the better passer at the moment. especially when it comes to long range passing

If he can pass them nearly as good as Xavi that is a good sign

I'm watching him for Belguim against Scotland tonight and, boy, is he good. He delivered a pin-point cross from a difficult position to assist for Belguim's first and his overall play is a pleasure to watch. I think we may have found a true gem in the making.

Agreed Virosh, the cross for the first was a peach. He reminds me of a young Beckham. Technique, energy and drive.

Not as good-looking though, which is a shame.

I'm thankful that he has more to his game than Beckham though.

Why is this ? Hazard is a great player but struggles to make any impact at all for his country. I notice it also in the champions league , for Lille and for us, these games just seem to pass him buy. In domestic competitions he is great but in European comps he is yet to do anything noticeable. Very strange.

if he ends up as good as beckham was ill be ecstatic

I can't say I have really watched de Bruyne in depth but from what I see I would have to agree

grabbed another assist yesterday. he took the corner kick that led to the first goal of the match that werder won 4-0

He is doing so well over there he might not want to come back. I do hope Chelsea are keeping a close eye on him. Im sure they are but i just hope he doesnt become another Stoch or Tore.

Found this highlight reel of De Bruyne from the weekend. Whilst the stat sheet might only show one assist from a corner, this video shows KDB had a fantastic game. Some of his touches/skills are simply sublime for one so young, and he put in numerous dangerous crosses with both feet. He was playing in central midfield for the most part and it seemed as though the rest of the Bremen team gravitated towards him in possession, the mark of any good central midfielder - notice how often at United the ball goes through Scholes, Xavi at Barca etc. It seems as though he's got the talent to play either in the middle or out wide, so it'll be intriguing to see what position he will make his own.
